Buraqs are heavenly counterparts of nightmares. Some say they are the good deity’s answer to the fiendish mounts, while others claim they are the original race that nightmares are debased parodies of. Obscure legends attribute the creation of both to Fharlanghn, who wished to devise means for creatures of all beliefs to travel the planes. Buraqs, though fervently despising all evil creatures, are docile around good creatures. They seem to specialize in serving as mounts for prophets and holy men. A Buraq has the body of a pure white horse, rainbow-hued wings and tail much like that of a peacock, and a beautiful head resembling that of a humanoid woman.

    Luminous Strike (Su)
Whenever a Buraq strikes a creature with a hoof, the hoof emits a radiant light that deals 1d4 points of nonlethal damage to the creature. This damage is divine in nature and is not affected by damage reduction or any form of energy resistance. In addition, evil outsiders and undead take 1d6, rather than 1d4 points, of damage, which is lethal.

    Radiant Aura (Su)
Any evil creature that comes within 30 ft. of a Buraq must make a DC 14 Will save or be permanently blinded. A creature that successfully saves against a Buraq’s radiant aura is immune to that Buraq’s aura for 24 hours. The save is Cha based.

    Heavenly Mount (Su)
A Buraq may use plane shift at will as the spell, caster level 20th, but it may only shift to the Material Plane or an Upper Plane. It may bring along only its rider, and only then if it is a good-aligned creature.

    Carrying Capacity
A light load for a Buraq is up to 300 pounds; a medium load, 301-600 pounds; and a heavy load, 601-900 pounds.
I no longer actively read the forums, and probably won't respond to any PMs. I'm fine with people using my homebrew in anything, including fan-compilations and wikis, as long as you credit me.

Pretty cool creature idea. Only thing I possible saw was "In addition, evil outsiders and undead take 1d6, rather than 1d4 points, of damage, which is lethal. " Could it possibly be reworded at the end so it said 1d6 rather than 1d4 point of damage and is considered lethal.
