On the subject of weddings,

The only wedding I've ever been to is my sisters. I was 12 at the time, and had to wear a tux that was too big.

I looked like a penguin.

I went to my cousin's wedding a while back when I was like 8 I was the ring bearer.

I sat in a wedding for a while, just staring at the groom and smiling looking really contempt. The entire wedding. He almost strangled me by "I do".

I have been to two funerals (Great Grandma and my dad's Stepdad) and I've been to three weddings (My cousin Noleen's, A friend of my mom's and someone else I don't remember).
The service is always boring, but the food afterwards makes up for it. I realise that's a wee bit innapropriate for talking about funerals, but hey, they were family, but you've gotta eat.
Just kidding, I was almost in tears at the funerals, close family members and all that jazz.

I haven't been to either of dems. Closest thing is either planting a cool little tree over my Brit granny's ashes or... when I got assimilated into the Borg Collective Catholic Church.

I was forced into Christianity for the first 12 years of my life, then I was given the option to stop spending Sunday morning at church, I took that option and I'm so glad for it, I used to get very bored in church. Also, Nanny Rose never let me have any fun.

I just got pulled into synagogue for the first saturday morning service I've ever hat to go to two weeks ago. My two older sisters somehow avoided the dragging. I was the only person there who seemed to be younger than 25... And the little part after where you socialize and there are snacks, this one guy kept on suggesting to my parents that I spend a month in the summer in Israel...

The three weeks I went to Israel last year were the best three weeks of my life... We invited all of our cousins on our moms side of the family to come to Israel for my Bar Mitzvah. We had to rent a vee-hickle to tour Israel in, but they only had the one that had 42 seats... It was awesome, as there were only 11 of us.
