So earlier today I witnessed my 5 1/2 year old brother reading ("reading"?) Start of Darkness. A few hours later, I heard him ask our twelve-year-old brother:

"Why does the goblin in the Order of the Stick kill his friend at the end?"



I don't know whether this means he actually READ it (he can read, but it's hard work) or if he was going by the pictures. I do know he went through the entire thing.

I went to a Music Festival today. After a COPIOUS amount of rain, and a bottom-of-the-barrel rap group, I saw Vampire Weekend (Very nice), The Ting Tings (Interesting), Rufus Wainwright (Woah-hey, that's awesome!), The Decemberists (YEEEESSSSSSS), and then Arctic Monkeys (Bleh), and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs (These people are crazy, but again, interesting.) 9 hours of being on my feet and incredibly loud music. Noice.
