Hardwood laminate. Inexpensive way to get the appearance of hardwood floors.

Cheap, sure, but miles better than the circa late-70's peel and stick tile that was there before. I'll have to remember to get a picture of one of the tiles we salvaged, it's truly so ugly that it defies description. It must be seen.

Never played the King's Quest games. It doesn't seem to have the style and writing of its rival games like Monkey Island.

Never played the King's Quest games. It doesn't seem to have the style and writing of its rival games like Monkey Island.

I think the concept of not dying all the time is another of the main appeals of Monkey Island compared to King's Quest.

Have you heard of a supposed "cheat" where if you hold out a Deku Stick and stand by some butterflies, the butterfly will land on the stick and turn into a fairy?

How come there is no video proof of this on the Internet?

I've never been able to do it myself. I think the whole thing's a hoax.

Pretty sure Nintendo Power was the source to reveal that code, and they're pretty good about fact-checking cheats. I think it's just absurdly hard to make happen and not really worth the effort.

But the point is that it was a silly rumour about a secret that didn't actually exist.

^: You forgot about Poland, Ms. trying to confirm a myth that isn't even useful due to how easy it is to get fairies which aren't even needed if you've had the game as long as you would have to have had by this point.
