Re: Admiral Euphoria's Random Banter Thread of Delusional Grandeur #124
Deus Ex? Old? Older than Phase?
Surely you jest.
It's nine years old apparently. I don't think Phase is quite that young. Perhaps of spirit, but not of age.Last edited by Player_Zero; 2009-08-10 at 06:42 PM.

"Doom" came out in the early 90s. Deus Ex was released in 2000.

Re: Admiral Euphoria's Random Banter Thread of Delusional Grandeur #124
Playgrounders, a dilema has just been thrust upon me. Hear me out for a minute.
Now, my friends and I have a tabletop game running, but we rarely have enough time to get things done because most of us work or other engagements. We usually only get a few hours in. We were going to do some on Wednesday, but our GM is unavailable that day, and they're rescheduling tomorrow. Why tomorrow? Because everyone else has the day off. This has never happened so far this summer, so they were planning on gaming all day. Which I LOVE to do.
Unfortunately... I did have prior plans with my family to go to Milwaukee for the day, first to go to the zoo, then to the state faire. I was even going to see one of my college friends, because they're working at the faire.
I... I don't know which to choose. I am leaning more towards the gaming because it's only a matter of weeks now before we all go off to college for the school year, and I want to spend as much time with them as I can, but if I do, I think I might upset myparentsfather by doing so.
So, if you were in my shoes, which would you choose? All-day gaming, or zoo and the faire with a family (to clarify things a little more, I'm not entirely close to my family, and my brother's a brat... there's a good chance that the day could be ruined with me being there)?

Re: Admiral Euphoria's Random Banter Thread of Delusional Grandeur #124
In your shoes, I would choose the gaming, considering that your brother would cause complications in the plans at Milwaukee. I don't think you would be missing much if you did all-day gaming since I have been to the Milwaukee county zoo with my family several times. Not sure about the state faire, but that doesn't seem that exciting.
Yet another Touhou fan in the playground.

Pick The Gaming. All Day Gaming Is More Fun Than Anything With Family.

I'd actually go with family, simply because you've got more time for gaming, but this is the only time for family.
In other news, I feel somewhat dirty from reading so much of Bleedman's work.
My eyes feel like the the bottoms of a very large and very runny bat.

Bleedman? The guy from Oceania who did the Powerpuff girls' fan comics?
The familoy is a more limited venue and has those who has some fiscal influence over your future involved...

Yes.
The non-powerpuff girls stuff is pretty good.

Ever have one of those dreams that just refuses to let you go? I feel like I must've spent a good hour just trying to wake up, knowing that I was dreaming, but the damn thing just wouldn't let me...

You mean like essentially being in your own horror setting while it's being run by one of your most sadistic characters?
I think she was either trying to negotiate for more screen-time or trying to get me to actually work on the book...too bad excising that demon vinyl from our home comes first!

You know what we need more of? Things like Dr. Horrible...
And more Let's Play videos with amusing people. I think Phase would be pretty good at one if he hasn't already made one.

Re: Admiral Euphoria's Random Banter Thread of Delusional Grandeur #124
Oh, FedEx and your zany screw-ups. First you go to the wrong house and say "your daughter said you were asleep" (pro tip: I am 18 and do not in fact have children), then you come 2 hours too late. Then instead of my GeForce 9800, you bring me a GTX280. That needs an 8-pin connector to run which nobody stocks except for NewEgg, which came up to $17 for the $5 cable. Even when you get something for free, you still have to pay.
