Outside V: More civilized than Inside

Hm. And then the man challenged Duke Whitemount to a duel in which he killed him, though he wasn't supposed to?

"Yes." The farmer answers.

[McBish]

"I'm not sure where she would go to get it. I don't deal in **** like that. There are a couple of people who do, but I didn't think she knew any of them." He seems worried more about Angie getting hurt then the fist Alexi makes.

[Morty]

Dipsnig looks annoyed. And was the farmer really poaching?

[Neon Knight]

[Whitemount]

This farmer shrugs. "No one really knows. His property was closest to the forest, and he had been complaining about a bad year of harvest. But no one ever found any physical proof of it."

[Morty]

Right... I think I'll go check for myself. Farewell. Dipsnig heads for the farm where the deed was done. Looks like Saul was perfectly within his rights to hang this Apollinaire fellow... unless I can make it look as if the farmer never did any poaching at all.

[Whitemount]

Dipsnig will arrive at the North Road Farm. No reprisals against the farmer have been made since this mess started, for fear that those troublesome GloGers might get uppity. So Dipsnig will find him in good spirits.

[Morty]

Dipsnig decides to take a look for himself before questioning the farmer. He tries to sneak by near his barn or similiar building.

"What was she looking for, and where might she find it?" Alexi's voice is low, deadly calm. "I don't think you get it, kid. She is GOING to die. She's trying to 'wake up from the nightmare that is her life' - so don't worry about loyalties or any of that crap. Unless you want her death on your head, you'll tell me what I need to know."

There's a barn. Dipsing sneak sneak sneaks over to it.

The farmer is pretty ordinary and occupied with something in the main farmhouse, so Dipsnig should have no problem skulking about without being detected.

[Morty]

Dipsnig looks for a window that he can climb to and use it to enter the barn.

[Neon Knight]

He can do that. He'll have to push some crates around, though.

[Morty]

If possible, Dipsnig will try to use a lenght of rope with a hook rather than to push crates around - the latter tends to be hard when you're 3'4" tall.

[McBish]

"You think I want her to die. I like her. She was looking for some stuff called Hark. It is dangerous, especially in the amounts she wanted. I know three people in the area that sell it." He lists three locations. There is a apparent physic who deals out of his wagon that he works in. A half-orc who deals out of an abandoned house. And a Elf who deals out of a specific alley near by.

"If you see a kid named Collin, he is short, has blond curly hair. Tell him Mikey asked him to find Angie for you. He is good at finding people."

"Yeah, I'll do that." Alexi growls and starts off towards the alley Mikey told him about, searching out the elf dealer.

[Neon Knight]

M'kay. That'll work too. Dipsnig gets inside!

He doesn't see anything that obviously points to poaching. No animal bones or carcasses. No blood stains. No furs. Not even a bow and arrow.

[Morty]

Dipsnig searches the barn as quietly as possible in search for traps or weapons.

[McBish]

It isn't too hard to find. And sure enough there is an elf there with long white dreadlocks. He is just sort of staring off into space.

No purpose built weapons in the barn, or traps. It's pretty much just a barn.

Alexi takes long strides right up to the elf. "Angie - you know her?" He proceeds to describe the girl. "I hear she was looking for something you sell. I need to find her."

[Morty]

Dipsnig smirks. Perhaps the case wasn't that hopeless. He leaves the barn, trying to be as quiet as possible, and looks around to check what other buildings are there.

[McBish]

"I know her, but she doesn't buy from me. I haven't seen her recently." He doesn't even look at Alexi when he responds.

Alexi tries to follow the elf's gaze. "What are you looking at?"

[Neon Knight]

Not much. A few sheds, one of which does have an old hunting bow that isn't strung. The main farmhouse where everyone lives. Other miscellaneous farm type buildings.

[McBish]

"Nothing man, just looking. You want to buy something?" Seems the elf has been testing his own wares.

[Dirk Kris]

Alexi looks disgusted. "No. Tell Angie that Alexi is looking for her if you see her again. Got it?" He heads off, going to the next spot on the list - the half-orc's place.

[Morty]

Hmmm. Searching all this would take a while and be dangerous. Dipsnig looks around for a lonely farmhand.

[Neon Knight]

He can find one gathering up brushwood near the edge of the farm.

[McBish]

[Slums]

The elf nods and goes back to staring. As Alexi walks towards the half-orc's place. It is an old house and it looks like the half-orc has a bunch of thugs. And if Alexi approaches he may see Collin half hidden in an alley watching the place.

Spotting the kid and eyeing him, Alexi approaches. "Hey kid - you Collin? Mikey said you might be able to help me find someone."
