I suppose you don't have to add much time for getting dressed with such a small dress on.
I kid, I kid.
Robes are easier to put on, anyway.

Re: Thanatos's Tharmturges Present: Tropical, Tipsy, and Typically Random Banter #127
My laptop is within arm's reach of the bed. For the past few days it's actually been in the bed with me because I was talking with the girlfriend or browsing the forums whilst laying down because I sit for long periods of time at work and laying down is more relaxing.
So I quite literally often finding myself rolling over and checking the forums blearry-eyed before I take my shower.NaNoWriMo Beat Me

I don't turn mine off. I close it and put it under my bed, then pull it out and browse while lying down in supreme comfort to maximise the time I can do it before dying of... well, lots of stuff.

Oh, I tend to not turn mine off, either. This way I open the laptop from a still-lying-down position.

Problem is, turned off or not, every time I start using the thing, the L key doesn't work until it warms up. And I don't know why!

Unluckily, however, I have DR15/weapons, magic or anything actually lethal.
So, yeah, I'll live past the Pun Damage, like I do the Ego damage, the Self-esteem damage and the "Oh gods oh gods, what is that thing, it looks like a spider but it's as big as my head and going to eat me!" damage.
No, I'm not afraid of spiders. Unless they're bigger than my head and about to eat me.NaNoWriMo Beat Me

...Nice try, really, but I haven't needed an ego booster shot since I started high-school and had my ego shot with 17 12-guage shotguns all at once. (Note: Number of metaphorical shotguns merely guessed at, not actual number of metaphorical shotguns involved)

Re: Thanatos's Tharmturges Present: Tropical, Tipsy, and Typically Random Banter #127
I wont go anywhere near any spider larger than a fingernail clipping, and the ones that are smaller than that I kill. The ones larger than coins cause me to flee in terror, and if one showed up bigger than my head I'd probably find something sharp and dig my own brains out through my eyeholes out of fear.

Hey, if the spider is trying to eat something-not-me, I'm happy with it. Shelob eating orcs hunting me down? Good! Shelob then trying to eat me? Yeah, thats when the fear kicks in.
Stay away from the ladderwell I have to walk up at least twice a day every summer that usually only gets cleaned out whenever a big ol' thunderstorm or tropical system washes it all away. I can start measure their width from leg to leg in inches.
And they're pretty fat, too.Last edited by Thanatos 51-50; 2009-09-09 at 09:03 AM.

Assuming you could move...assuming you haven't unwittingly blundering into its silken web and your struggles only serve to alert the beast that prey has arrived...maybe it even sits and waits, enjoying the gentle rocking of your futile struggles for awhile before picking its way along the web and injecting the paralyzing toxins so it can weave you your very own funeral shroud...

Re: Thanatos's Tharmturges Present: Tropical, Tipsy, and Typically Random Banter #127
I once made an Assault Rifle in the Fallout 3 editor (GECK). It had twice the magazine capacity of a normal assault rifle, four times the durability, and did twice the damage of the Chinese Assault Rifle. It also had the dart gun's effect slapped onto it (Poison damage, plus cripple both legs). I named it the Incredibly Overpowered Assault Rifle. It could be repaired with the normal assault rifles and only took a specific type of ammunition called "Poisoned 5.56 Rounds".
I never quite could make the 5.56 rounds so they would work with the rifle.NaNoWriMo Beat Me

Re: Thanatos's Tharmturges Present: Tropical, Tipsy, and Typically Random Banter #127
Do you kill those annoying fire ants with it?
(Shoot the antenna's my ass... just makes them go crazy! Aim for the head you diminutive cretin! Also, get out of my game. If, in a game, I can kill everyone, and there are children, I'd better be able to kill them, too. I mean, ethically, is it really worse than nuking a town full of people that is "ugly" in a post-apocalyptic world?)

Re: Thanatos's Tharmturges Present: Tropical, Tipsy, and Typically Random Banter #127
I've actually got very few mods on F3. Fellout, a Stealth Armor Fix, and I think Combat Dusters are the only ones I have aside from every DLC except Mothership Zeta.
...crap, now I want to play again...so much for getting any work done this month...

Re: Thanatos's Tharmturges Present: Tropical, Tipsy, and Typically Random Banter #127
As previously stated: I couldn't get the bullets to work.
No bullets = Gun no shoot
Now, the Incredibly Overpowered Armour I made, on the other hand...
(Weight 0, 85 DR, +10 Sm. Guns)
That was something special.
There are some parts of me that want to go into the game's code and "fix" the spelling so all instnaces of armour and colour and such are spelt with "U"s.
Aussie girlfriend has corrupted me. The American spelling looks wrong now.
