Re: Arena Tournament, Round 66: Krung vs. Joshua Balukar
You need to post in the waiting room with a link to our game if you need an LOS check. The refs don't just cruise the games looking for questions to answer. :)

High Ref PsiDog
Technically, this is Master_Rahl22's LoS request. RandomAction never hinted anywhere that he wanted or needed a LoS check.
LoS Check:
@Refs
SpoilerOrdinarily I wouldn't bother with a Listen check, but Clunky Krung is noisy enough that Joshua might pinpoint the location.
Listen: DC -4 (Move Silently modifier) +2 distance = DC -2
Js Listen - (1d20+2)[20]
Edit: Which he just did.
Krung has no hope of making a listen check well enough to hear anything beyond "you hear something to the west," nothing informative. He does hear the auditory component of the force screen however.
Joshua
SpoilerNo direct LoS, but you do hear the clinkety-thunk of your armored opponent traveling due east to end in N-10 however.
Krung
SpoilerNo LoS.
Prior to your turn you did hear a deep base hum that quickly grew in volume to that of a strong shout.Last edited by Psionic Dog; 2009-09-07 at 01:45 PM.

Re: Arena Tournament, Round 66: Krung vs. Joshua Balukar
@Joshua:
SpoilerYou started in the wrong square, in the OP, your name is in green, so you's start in the green start circle, you'll probably need to redo round 1, but I'll wait for high-ref confirmation on that.

Re: Arena Tournament, Round 66: Krung vs. Joshua Balukar
Refs, Josh
SpoilerUsually the way to go here would be to just reflect his turn, as if he did the same move from his actual starting point. Which I guess would put him in I-17 or I-18.

Re: Arena Tournament, Round 66: Krung vs. Joshua Balukar
I'd like to request in the future that the starting locations not be red and green. I swear that the color my name is typed in matches the west start spot, at least according to red-green colorblind me.
Refs:
Spoiler
Since this map is not vertically symmetrical, I'd prefer to have my movement reflected over the X and Y axis, putting me at R-17. Basically I wanted to be able to move through clear space to get to him if he just came straight at me, and R-17 is the similar spot to I-10 from the other side.
