Thanks. I've built up a pretty decent record so far, and I like to think some of it is due to the power of my builds (Fiorella probably being my favorite, nothing like quick magic wins that don't rely much on the dice and are done without the cheese of Fell Drain). Although in round 65 I had some well-placed rolls of 19 that also propelled me along, one of which took down you in the first match, and the other Titus.

Of course, I'd say I'm more the anti-you, RPG, because you seem to know all the various facets of this game. I just looked over the SRD for a couple hours and cranked out a couple characters based on what looked good, and have been learning by trial and error ever since. Ironically, the two later characters that are less SRD-based are also, in my opinion, weaker. Which poses an interesting question: where would y'all rate your characters as far as overall effectiveness, or just which one you think is the best? For me it goes Fiorella-Train-Solus-Battle Janitor.

Well currently I've only got three characters.

Forge is an all-around I'm still tinkering with. He relies on the luck of dice at times but has the ability of combining virtually any spells which makes him very adaptable. I think he's my favorite. I plan on taking him all the way up.

Hoppy is in this game and he still hasn't shown his ace yet. I imagine the level 2 version of him will be quite lethal. Don't know how much I enjoy playing him yet though...

Cog is a midgit warforged with AC of 25 with no buffs. He can also pack the damage and land shots in melee with a +11 to hit. Might be my most successful.

Also, checking the spell description, it says 40ft radius... which would make a 80ft diameter... far bigger than what you posted... and making calculations of the center you proposed the resulting area of effect would be like this:

on to the topic of the day: Can I or can I not change the area of effect for my Entangle spell, now that I've explained why I didn't know?

Officially, no. It's come up a lot lately, and the rulings have stated that what you typed is what you did, intentions are irrelevant. In other words, always preview your posts to make sure you say what you mean and vice versa. However, this is an exhibition match. So my suggestion is that you guys work it out amongst yourselves one way or the other, and remember that nothing's on the line.

My recomendation would be to keep his turn, considering the center of his spell, thus having Flake and Mac to make their saves...
