She's still singing, but she's almost out of green and orange paint. So she's going to be coming out soon for more paint.

[celtois]

Aldren, starts to sing along quietly with her... being careful to sing very softly so he won't disturb her. His voice however is very rich and melodious and may carry even despite his efforts.

Helykaan suddenly stops singing, because she's out of paint. It's really sudden, just immediately stops.

Then she walks out to get more, and sees Aldren (!). Oh! she exclaims. I'm so sorry,
She has long blonde hair in a French Braid, and she's wearing a yellow, green, and orange-speckled-with-paint training outfit, because she forgot to change back to her dress.

After being flustered, she notices his wings, and she blushes. Are...are you and angel?

[celtois]

He stops singing, shortly after she does.. There's no need to be sorry. I was just listening to you sing.There's not much music around here. The angel smiles sadly. His wings still folded around him.. the one looks quite battered.

Oh, really? Not much singing... she looks at his hurt wing.
Oh, are you hurt? Is it bad? she exclaims.

[celtois]

No not really, I miss it sometimes. Living on the plane of music, It feel so cold and alien without it. He looks up down at his wing. Yeah, I'm hurt. It's worse then I'm used to. He smiles at her. Nothing to concern yourself with though.

Oh, so you're going to get better, then? she asks.
And I'm used to music...and, flames, actually.

Then she looks down at her clothes. How they're all sweaty and paint-colored.Oh! Pardon my clothes, I've been training...and painting.

[celtois]

I don't think I am. It's already been a month. Flames?..... Ah...I see. He looks down. He smiles slightly. Don't worry about it. It just shows you've been doing honest work. In his head he completes the sentence unlike the rest of your kind.

Oh, yes, I've been painting. 'Cause I'm new here, and my room was soooo dull. So I need to spruce it up a bit.
Speaking of which, do you know where I could get some other colors of paint? she asks. I need...red and blue next.

Since she can't read his mind, in her mind she's thinking Oh, my gosh! He's so cute! I'm glad that he doesn't know I'm a succumbus...if he found out, he'd probably never talk to me again. That's basically what she's thinking, except she's using a lot more words.

Astrid keeps cooking her small feast in the kitchen.

[celtois]

I have no idea where you'd find paint, I've spent most of my time here in the infirmary.. Why don't we go look for some though. He stands up slowly obviously favoring is right leg. Once up her offers her his hand.

Okay, she says energetically, taking his hand. I can't believe I'm holding an angel's hand! So what do you do in the infirmary?

Alexis is out of Alex's room somewhere in the base.

[celtois]

His hands is warm and soft, and he holds her hands gently Well mostly lie in bed well the med drones hover around me sticking needles in me. He laughs.. a sounds that resembles the sounds of tinkling bells. Though on occasion when I'm awake I try and help out where I can. He limps/leads her towards the supply room.

Oh, that's gotta hurt. Helen says. Don't you do anything for yourself? Besides helping people or being stuck by needles? she asks.

In the supply room, she looks around.

[celtois]

Not very often, though yesterday I went to the pool and the garden to relax. Seems the only times I wake up is when a crisis is happening. He gestures to the door they arrived at. Here we are, there should be paint in here.

Wow, there's pool here too?. She looks around for paint, but mostly red or blue colors. Black, violet, and brown won't hurt either, because she'll need those sooner or later.

If she finds them, she says Nice, now I can finish my room.

[celtois]

Yeah. It was nice and quiet when I went so no one complained when I sang. He helps her locate the paints. Here why don't I help you carry those. He tries to take a couple of cans from her.



I have no idea what Glog would have... but we'll assume she finds them.

She lets him take a couple cans, but then she says Wait...you're hurt. Helen's carrying most of the cans, though. Wouldn't it be better if you just let me carry them all?

Of course GloG will have them. Who doesn't have spare cans of paint lokced away in their storage room?

[celtois]

He smiles at her concern, don't worry I'll be fine. Besides you've already got plenty to carry. He limps/flutters back towards her room with the paint cans.

Oh, thanks, then. She carries the paint cans to her room also.

Now...red or blue? I can't decide which to start with.

[celtois]

They're both nice colours. Close you eyes I'll shuffle the cans around and you can pick on and random. He grins at her. It's such a happy smile, she might find that it seems to melt worries, and cares away and leave bliss. Though for some jaded souls it has no such effect.

His smile makes Helykaan feel happier and at ease, trusting him. So, she says Okay, you do that. She closes her eyes, and waits for it to get mixes around.

[McBish]

The smell of delicious food may start to waft out of the kitchen through the base.

[celtois]

He mixes them around. Then leans in very close and whispers you can pick a can now..he doesn't really consider the effect being so close it might have on her or anyone for that matter. she might notice that he smells quite nice, like a nice spring day, or a lovely flower.

or she might not.

She's so fascinated by his voice and his smell of flowers, that she just stands there, thinking about him. Not picking a color. She whispers That's so good, commenting on the springy smell.

Then, finally, she realizes that she was supposed to pick a color. Oh, sorry. I pick the far left one.

[celtois]

He had stepped back after whispering, however when he doesn't quite catch what she whispers. So he steps back in close so he can hear her. Hmm?
He smiles at her and steps back.. Okay we're painting it red.

Red? she opens her eyes, and looks at him. Okay, red.

Helen brings the colors into the room. On the left side of the room has a sun painted at the top, and the green part of plants painted on the bottom;
on the right side has lots of orange and yellow,, and she points at this part. This is where I want it, she says, taking off the paint lid.

And the smell of delicious food is wafting through the base, I guess, by that other post. so it reaches here.

She starts painting in the yellow-and-orange section, making the thinks look more and more like flames and heat and lava on that side.

[celtois]

Smells like someone is making themselves lunch. He pauses before looking at the part where she pointed.. it looks like a lovely space for a bit of red.With that he picks up a paint brush, Then stops suddenly. I should probably get changed before I start painting I doubt these clothes would take well to paint. Though I really don't have any other clothes or a place to change for that matter. His cheeks turn slightly pinkish. The last remark is said rather quietly partially to himself but probably loud enough for her to hear.

Yep smell of food is around the base.
