Quinn gently hugs Astrid back, but still looks very, very upset.
Now I know why Sam went away.

Not knowing who Sam is Astrid is a little confused but keeps holding Quinn trying to be comforting. Well it may be a bit selfish on my part, but I'm glad you haven't gone anywhere.

[Reinholdt]

Daisuke is no Jack from 24 then. Torture for information is a-ok if you're the good guy and charismatic. *rolls eyes*

Butler comes out of deadtime, but doesn't really have much to add to the conversation.

Quinn manages to smile just a little. Thanks. Can I get a drink of water, please?

Yay, a job for Butler B. Butler!

Yay!
Butler goes to get a drink of water.
He's not as enthused about it as he'd normally be though. I mean, he thought the kid was dead... still does actually. Nothing seems to have indicated it's not yet.

So somberly he gets her a glass of water with a "Yes ma'am."

[McBish]

Astrid isn't sure either, but she thinks the kid is OK. Do you need anything else?

Daisuke looks at Quinn.

The child is all right?

Quinn nods, softly, and smiles. Yeah. She's fine...thanks, both of you - all of you...

She'll drink the water when it comes, then deadtime.

[Reinholdt]

Gah! But she said the kid was... but...
Soooo confused.

Butler would go to check on the prisoner and make sure she wasn't wounded horribly by the bump, but they don't let him in the detention center anymore.

And it's getting all dirty in there too!

So he's forced to just go somewhere else for now. The rose garden. He'll try to carry Decker there too.

[horngeek]

Daisuke nods as Quinn deadtimes.

Then he disappears, and reappears outside the room the prisoner's in.

He checks with the drones as to her physical state.

[McBish]

Astrid sighs, then follows up on Butler's suggestion to visit the great closet and starts to pick up some clothes to change into instead of a hospital gown or a cut up bloody dress.

Decker is carried to the Rose Garden, stealing a kiss or two on the way.

((Deadtime))

Shania is in her cell, unconscious.

[McBish]

Astrid dressed in new clothes heads into the kitchen to make her self some food. After she makes herself something she makes another plate of food and takes it and a glass of orange juice into the infirmary. She sticks it in the deadtime that Quinn is stuck in so it stays fresh until Quinn gets free. Then she goes back to eat her own meal.

Alexis, pruny from her time in the pool, emerges and starts to dry off humming softly.

Quinn wakes up, feeling weak, but smiles at seeing the food Astrid left, and 2quietly eats.

Alex climbs out and goes to dry off as well, smiling happily.

She pulls him close for a quick kiss. We should do that more often.

And he returns it, happily. Oh yeah. That was great.

She lays out on her back, smiling. Pretty tiring too.

Chucking, Alex sits next to her. I was going to say it was relaxing, myself...

That too. She looks over and gives him a playful wink.

((There's an angry Sept in HALO))

[McBish]

Astird walks through the rose garden thinking, not sure what to do now.

[The Bushranger]

((Meep! Heading there now. ))

Alex chuckles, blushes a little, and winks back. What should we do now?

Not sure really. This place has been quiet recently. And I think we've done it all around here. She giggles.

Alex grins. Not quite all...but I know what you mean. Smiling, he moves to stretch out next to her. Maybe just take the moment to relax...



Quinn finishes eating, then decides to have the meddrones look herself over, just in case.

She lays her head on his shoulder. I need to get some more training in really. She holds up an arm.

[McBish]

Astrid comes around to the infirmary and waves to Quinn. Hey there feeling better?

Alex gently runs a hand up his arm. You're not pushing yourself again are you? he asks, sounding concerned.


Quinn smiles at Astrid. Rather better, yeah. Still concerned, though.

She gets a few goosebumps and shakes her head. No I'm not. It just sucks because they're taking forever to return.

Stuff takes time sometimes, I guess. You'll get it back. Maybe I should fix you some high-protien meals.
