In #683, Durkon won't cool Belkar because (he claims) he only prepared the spell Endure Heat for 5 people, and there are 6 of them. But Haley's magic desert armor already protects her from heat (per #675).

This was probably chewed over/explained at the time, but I'm kinda slow.

The clasp is shown above V as a curve touching the intersection between the contours of the hair and the arm, and can be seen in all the mentioned comics. Yes, it is pixel peeping, but it shows that the clasp, which is a vital part of the cape, stays on all the time, and thus the rest of the cape should do so too.

Clasps are used to keep a cloak stuck around your neck. Elan clarifies that in this comic.

And the argument that the clasp is a part of the tunic because it isn't shown on "V's cape" (Roy's towel), and that Roy's towel must be V's cape because we can't see it on V, is just a circle argument, since the one requires the other. If we assume that the clasp indeed is a vital part of the cape (which it, of course, is), then we get the conclusion that V's cape must still be worn by V, because the clasp is, and that Roy's towel is, indeed, a towel.

I think the pants stay the same color though, and that everything else them changing color is just an optical illusion.

A couple things in #581.

At Crystal's poker game, the blond guildmember, fittingly, has an ace hidden in her boot.

And down at the bottom, the door to Pete's safe room opens out into the hallway, but later, it's effectively barred with junk from the inside. Whoops.
