Well, I stand corrected, having little inclination towards the Epic Level Handbook.

However, the zombie template states

"Hit Dice: Drop any Hit Dice from class levels (to a minimum of 1), double the number of Hit Dice left, and raise them to d12s. If the base creature has more than 10 Hit Dice (not counting those gained with experience), it can’t be made into a zombie with the animate dead spell. "

which is what I was basing my statement on. Descrate increases the total number of HD of undead you can create, but doesn't alter the maximum level.

I honestly couldn't care less what TVTropes has to say at the best of times, but we weren't even talking about a question mark over the head of anyone in the first place. It may well be a common device, but it's not one Rich has ever used. As I said, in OotS characters show confusion with a little squiggly eyebrow. This cat doesn't have one, however.

Having checked, you're right, its saying "Meow?", which reads to me more likely to be a "you what?" response to the spayed reference, if anything.

Belkar's Grandma spent her last days (or years) at a nursing home. Which somehow contradicts the "Belkar's parents were perfectly nice people" theory...depending on what nursing homes in halfling villages are like.

Also, I had forgotten that Roy likes to jump on big animals. I can imagine how that will affect the recent plotline.

I'm sure this has already been done, but I've never noticed this before. In Comic #254, we meet Pompey, the half-elf for the first time. When he takes off his cloak for the first time, he looks directly at the reader, and he has only one pointy ear (half an elf).

This has probably been brought up before (I'M not going to root through all those pages just to be sure), but in the first panel of strip #10, the goblins in the background are speaking some language I'm assuming is Goblin.

Also, in panels 6 and 7 of # 19, Elan's haircut is different.

Don't forget that in #42, the size of Belkar's daggers changes from panel to panel, especially Panel 11.

I just noticed that in Panel Two you can see the Hobgoblin Commander fall off the Mammoth as Redcloak dismisses it.

Then in the next panel you can see the sound effect.
