Jallorn kicks the naginata back into the air, grabbing it and swinging in a circular motion, whacking the scorpion with the blunt end, then dropping down for a lunge.

The scorpion grips you tightly, its stinger poised and ready. A brief moment passes, then the stinger shoots forward like a harpoon. You hear bones snapping in your leg.

Satisfied, Jallorn retrieves his daggers, sheaths his weapons, and moves on to continue searching for sentient life.

You walk for hours, seeing nothing but a sea of sand to your left and a sea of water to your right. After a few hours, you hear Raven's voice in your head. "Anything?"

[Jallorn]

"Nothing."
