Not death metal, but the start of say, most of their albums is very slow, and builds to a climax, all very post-rock (oh dear I've started on the genre naming).

I know I'm late, but woo! new thread. Shut up, I can totally use interjections in the middle of sentences.

I'm very picky when it comes to naming genres. I need to get a very specific sub genre, even though I can't actually tell the difference. I mostly go "well, this sounds kinda like that other band, which sounds sort of like that band #2, who the Wikipedia article says is melodic death metal".

Well...I might be opening up a can of worms here, but I'm kind of hoping for a decent turnout, so...

This is my blog. I blog for school because it is a class about New Media, and blogging is New Media. I blog about different things I find on the internet. And, this being very near the end of the semester, I am very out of things that I can think of to blog about that the teacher and students would actually find interesting.

So to make it more interesting, I'm asking people to post a site that they visit every day in the comments for my most recent blog post. On Friday, I'll count up all of the posts, and pick the one most frequently cited (Or pick among the suggested sites that have tied). Then during the weekend I will do a write-up for that particular site.

If any of you want to jump in and post a site that YOU visit daily, feel totally free to do so. (Heck, you could even ask me to do a write-up for GITP!) If not...well, then just don't click on that link I showed you.

I'm only posting this here because you guys are trustworthy enough that I don't worry about accidentally inviting a troll into my blog. That, and I need at least a little bit of turnout to make this worthwhile. ^^; I'm not making any money off of this, and while it might impress my teacher, it will not directly affect my grade.

Edit: Only a few hours, and already the Playgrounders outnumber the students from my class 2 to 1.

Hey, so does anyone else have the problem where they have certain phrases linked to trigger words in their brain, almost to the point of excessiveness?

For me, it's like this:

And then, unfortunately, most things link to losing The Game, which causes me much fun with my roommate who rages every time I tell him he lost.

Really, I'd be happy with any kind of mythical beast. Dragon, pheonix, basilisk, anything like that would be fine. Although if I had to pick one, I'd pick a narwhal. They're basically sea unicorns, so I think it's clear that they're the best possible Christmas gift.

I am almost finished my Spanish poster due tomorrow that I started today! I had to root through facebook profiles for pics of my friends, and lists of what they like. Which is unpleasant with dialup. Now my printer ink is at dangerously low levels, printing very colourful pages.
