This frustrates me.

They make them purposefully easy so that as many people enter as possible, but they still need a question so that it's a game of "skill" as opposed to just a prize draw, which are restricted by gambling laws. Same way that, apparently, the Canadian lottery has maths puzzles on the tickets that you have to solve.

Have you tried mapping it out on paper to keep it in your head and be able to play around with it a bit more freely?

Sometimes that can help.
