Thank you. I probably get part of that from my mother.

She grins. Her name's Brigid, and she's a member of the Tuatha dé Dannan. Essentially, the gods and goddesses of my home country.

"So you're God-Blooded, then?"

Well, how we're called in my universe is Scions, but you could use that term too.

Funny thing is, both Nimai and Brianna come from universes of games made by White Wolf.

Astrid finds her way to the main lodge and looks around for it.

Well, she might see Brianna, since Nimai deadtimed.

Astrid nods polietly to the woman and sets down her small bag and starts to clean up a bit, sweeping and stuff like that. She just can't fight her instincts/training.

Well, Brianna goes back to talking with Nimai, since Iames is back!

"Oh. Well maybe we can talk more later," Nimai says, moving past Brianna into the outdoors. "Or you could come with me," she adds.

Brianna looks at her. All right. I'll come along.

So, how does having a divine parent affect people in your world?

"I don't really know many. I'm a Half-Caste, which means my parents are Celestial Exalted. They're stronger than most gods."

I didn't actually know about my mother being a goddess until I was about twenty-five, just out of studying medicine. She told me, and gave me this spear.

She indicates the spear she's carrying, which is ornately carved. I can channel some of the divine powers I have through it.

So, what exactly are Exalted?

So, what exactly are Exalted?

"Exalted are people who've been given power by the Celestial Incarnae, the gods in charge of Heaven, and the Elemental Dragons. The Exalted were made to overthrow the Primordials, who created the world. Then the Solars went crazy and the Dragon-Blooded overthrew them, and then the Solars got free and now they're running things and trying to protect the world again."

...The Primordials sound a lot like the Titans in my world.

Basically, the Titans represented- and still represent... fundamental concepts. Light, Darkness, Decay, Fire, Water. There's even one, Terra, which represents the world.

The gods... split off from the Titans, and fought them. They won, and imprisoned them, because killing a Greater Titan has... unfortunate consequences for what it represent. So, they imprisoned them in a place called Tartarus.

Unfortunately, the Titans were freed, and there's a new war on, though this one isn't widely known, mostly because the gods aren't widely worshipped anymore. However, at the moment, there's... an uneasy ceasefire going on.

While the war was in full force, the Scions were really the ones carrying on the fight in the World and in some cases, the Underworld. The gods and those Scions who have become gods themselves were fighting the higher-level Titans and Titanspawn directly.

At the moment... there are skirmishes, but no full-scale battles are happening.

"That sounds sort of how things are right now. At home we're at war with the Wyld, the Underworld, and Malfeas. Mainly just the Underworld and Malfeas right now."

I'm not that powerful, as Scions go. But... we'll see.

Can God-Blooded in your world ascend to full godhood?

"I don't know," Nimai answers.

Scions in our world can. In fact, a lot of the modern-day gods are former Scions that did ascend to godhood.

She looks at Nimai. Of course, it's quite rare. You've got to survive that long, which is no easy feat.

And unusually noticeable at the moment.

She's staring up at the stars, a book open in one hand. Busy jotting down various observations. She'll crack this crazy tapastry yet! And hopefully when she does they'll all be able to find the proper path home.

To the right home.

A near infinite number of different versions of Creation really doesn't leave much room for error.

She might feel two... knots of Fate, really. As if two people here, by their abilities, can bind people to them unintentionally. Or a side effect of their abilities, really.

One is Merrick. Who's currently asleep.

The other's Brianna.

Not sure how Sidereal pattern stuff works.

"Well... good luck?" Nimai says to Brianna. She looks at Blue. "He looks busy, maybe I should try to find the Wood Aspect..."

Anila wanders towards the main compound, apparently having gotten lost on the way here. Wait, why is she carrying a boquet? ah, it seems she got distracted picking flowers in the forest around the campgrounds.

"They came here with my daddy to get me. I wanna tell one of them where I'm going so he doesn't think I'm in trouble." Nimai looks around for Anila, spots her, and starts running toward her.
