Re: [Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes
Astrid will probably find Charity's missing blue paints and pencils under the kitchen sink, as well as her panties () in the refrigerator, all hidden there by a ghost prankster.
Other than normal day to day messiness though, the kitchen is in pretty good shape, having been one of the first areas to be thoroughly scrubbed clean. Sunny also carried out any needed repairs on the appliances. It's an industrial sized kitchen, designed to cook for 200 campers, with lots of stainless steel surfaces and giant cooking pots.My avatar! Isn't it just utterly diabolical? Ashen Lilies made it!

Re: [Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes
Astrid raises an eyebrow at both the panties and the blue paints and pencils. But she is happy to find that the kitchen is pretty clean. She takes the lost items and does a quick look around the lodge to see if there is a lost and found. If not she looks for a box which she will label lost and found.

Re: [Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes
Finally, it's about time I play Helen's plotclone again, probably. She looks human (from the sudden onset of new members, some of which are absolutely terrified of demons, she found out), and has her two swords in fancy, similar scabbards, delicately carved ivory, gold designs on it, and turquoise inlets across them. She walks into the kitchen, and sees Astrid, and asks, Hey, Astrid. Do you need any help?
Except you ninja'd me. So Astrid's no longer in the kitchen. So Helen doens't run across her in the kitchen, just runs arcross her and asks her, How are you doing?Last edited by Je dit Viola; 2010-01-06 at 02:48 PM.

Re: [Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes
Astrid looks up and smiles at Helen. Hi there. I'm just making a lost and found. Since I found a bunch of stuff in the kitchen that doesn't belong there.
She is currently using some of the blue pencils to write Lost and Found on the side of a fairly large box.
Other then that I was going to go around and start cleaning up cabins and what not.Check out My Writing

Re: [Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes
That's a pretty good idea, she says, watching her friend's neat handwriting. Could I help? I haven't had much to do lately. Which is, actually, a lie, but she gets bored fairly quickly.

Re: [Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes
Yeah sure. Though it will probably be pretty messy, I've heard these cabins have been abandoned for a long time.
She finishes her lost and found box and dumps the blue pencils, paints, and the panties into it. And puts it in a corner.Check out My Writing

Re: [Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes
That looks like a good spot for it, comments Helen, about the box.
Then, she looks around the room they're in. Do you know where we should start? Maybe that guest cabin, I think it's number five, unless you already have somewhere in mind.I'm gone for a couple of years!

Re: [Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes
Actually I was thinking the same thing. Figured there probably aren't people living there yet so we can get it all cleaned up. We'll see how long that takes us. She says and starts walking to cabin 5.

Re: [Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes
Yeah, I don't think it'd take that long. There's only, what, four bedrooms? says Helen, walking towards it also. But, we'll probably need to somehow fix up the heating, if you know how.
Horngeek, why don't you? I think it would be funny. Dunno what McBish thinks, though. (...you deleted your post. Now my sentence here looks funny, like I'm talking to myself or something.)Last edited by Je dit Viola; 2010-01-06 at 03:04 PM.

Re: [Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes
((Yes it does, especially since I didn't see HG's post.))
Astrid smiles. Yeah four rooms that no one has lived in for who knows how long. Just imagine all the dirt and stuff that got in there, probably had some animals living in it for awhile. She says. And I am not sure I know how to fix the heat. She says as they almost reach the cabin.
Astrid spots the moving tree and stops though watching the root move. Do you see that?Check out My Writing

Helen looks down at the root. You saw it too? I thought it was just my imagination... She's stopped also. She glances over at the cabin, it's not very far, they could get there if they have to.

Re: [Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes
The heat will be kind of hard to fix as it isn't broken. It's non-existent. The camp wasn't intended to be used in the winter time, so only the main lodge has a fireplace.

Astrid frowns as she is surrounded by tree roots. [color=magenta]It is starting to look like trouble.[/colors] She replies.

Re: [Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes
Yeah, thanks. Since this way, they don't even have to try to fix it, since it's not there.
Yeah. It looks like it, says Helen, backing up until she realizes there's roots behind her too, so she draws her longsword from the magical scabbard. I hope it's just somebody playing a joke on us.I'm gone for a couple of years!

Re: [Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes
Oh that's not good. Astrid tries to shove Helen out of the way of the roots trying to grab her. And at the same time she wishes she had a dagger. But not having that she tries to tumble away from the roots herself, but one catches her foot and she falls to the ground trying to scramble away.

Re: [Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes
Uhgn! (something like that) Her sword gets taken. Wait! She still has daggers. But, she can't reach them without her tail.
However, she gets shoved away from the roots, barely avoiding capture for now.
This isn't good, at all. says Helen, shapeshifting to demon (claws? Tail? Horns? wings?) Now she's hoping it isn't someone playing a joke, because then they would see her as a demon.
And she sees Astrid, fallen. She needs to help her.Last edited by Je dit Viola; 2010-01-06 at 03:26 PM.

Re: [Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes
More roots come out of the ground, and attempt to wrap around Astrid's arms and legs, holding them to her side.
Also, more roots attempts to capture Helen! One of them tries to yank on her tail to distract her, then if she's distracted, the rest attempt to wrap around her.

Re: [Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes
Both of Astrid's legs are wrapped up, and one arm, but the other arm remains free for now. She tries to grab the root that is holding her other arm and pry it off. But she probably isn't strong enough, and the roots grab that arm too holding her tightly.

Re: [Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes
Helen could escape. Five different ways, in fact. However...they would result in her abandoning Astrid, and she doesn't want that.
In a futile attempt to run over to her and rescue her, she is stopped from moving, by her tail being yanked, and is wrapped up by the roots. Sorry... she says to Astrid, unable to help her.Last edited by Je dit Viola; 2010-01-06 at 03:30 PM.

Re: [Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes
And Helen's all captured up too, trying to use her demonic claw-hands to pull them away.
It's pretty ineffective, unfortunately.
She could still escape in two or three different ways now, but then there would be no chance of rescuing Astrid.I'm gone for a couple of years!

Re: [Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes
Um... what ever it wants to.
Well Helen may remember Astrid pushing her out of the way, maybe she would think that Astrid would want her to get away. But Astrid can't say anything, and is silently wishing she had a blade.Check out My Writing

Re: [Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes
Yeah, Helen remembers that. But she still figures it would be better to rescue Astrid, since they're friends. And she still hasn't found her a boyfriend.
Helen looks around as much as she can, for the source of the voice. The tree. Is someone sitting up in the tree?
And, unless her tail's also immobilized, she'll use it to grab her dagger.Last edited by Je dit Viola; 2010-01-06 at 03:41 PM.
