In a back alley of Sharn, your group stands. It's been a bit since the heat was on from those clerics and the city guard, but for now things seem quiet. Night is nearing, and your target is probably locked safely away in the temple. Still, your patron, whoever he, she, or it is, will not accept failure or excuses. Your reward will be large if you accomplish the task, but your death will be swift if you do not.

As you stand there, there is murmuring. You may or may not be able to decipher it. (Everyone, roll listen checks) There is a nearby tavern if you wish to visit. There is also a cheap inn that may not have the best beds but is rumored to be the best to pick up the word on the streets.

Ella spots the shadowy figure, but then suddenly the person pops out of the shadows. The figure speaks in a voice that sounds mechanical although you wouldn't necessarily say the person is warforged. "Hello, my team, it seems that we have had a little setback. That is all right. Perhaps, I need to detail more information about your target. Her name is Jaera Delan. She is very powerful and well-protected, but you will eventually be able to take her. To make it easier, let me tell you about something that will help you do so. There is a legend about the Silver Flame and it's creation. It involves the combination of a paladin, a couatl, and a demon. There is a set of three items, each involving one of those. The first is an unholy weapon once wielded by a paladin who turned into a vicious blackguard. The second is special armor covered in scales and feathers. The final item is a ring that contains the essence of a demon. Unite these three items, and there will be no one who can stop you on your mission. I will answer one question each before I must go."
