The healing magic should rid the poison from Brianna's body, leaving only a gaping emptiness as the body tries to cope from the loss of the euphoria.

"Maybe you shouldn't be drinking brandy..." Quinn sounds like she doesn't quite believe that, seeing as Brianna's Irish. "You're welcome. You should probably take it easy for a little while..."

What happened to you? Samuel asks, concerned. You started acting very strangely.

[horngeek]

Bloody hell, Quinn. I can put down brandy like nothing else, there was something in that drink!

[The Bushranger]

"Oh?"
Quinn turns to look at Samuel with a raised eyebrow. "There wasn't anything in mine..."

[billtodamax]

Do you think so? Oh dear! Samuel says. Maybe I should get checked too, just in case? He says, looking worried.

And just what are you insinuating? Samuel says, swaying slightly.

[horngeek]

Or check the drink itself. I think I left my glass on the table.

[The Bushranger]

"Just that it's a little suspicious..."
Quinn shakes her head, then heads to the kitchen to fetch the glass. Where she'll cast Detect Poison on it!

[billtodamax]

Poison detected! Of course, while Quinn's away, Samuel will start to mumble under his breath and to start reaching for things that aren't there.

[horngeek]

Brianna looks at him cautiously. What are you doing?

[billtodamax]

Weh? Wasseh! Is all the response Brianna gets as Samuel sits down on the floor and starts rocking back and forth, and sweating profusely.

[horngeek]

Is something wrong?

Also! Shrike and Zamira arrive!

Quinn returns, scowling. "Well, well, well, guess what, that drink was....er..." She blinks at seeing Samuel. "...what's going on?"

Indeed they do! And Shrike, noting the lake looks like the ice has been shattered and refrozen, heads in that way first.

Well, Quinn might notice the exact symptoms that Brianna was suffering when she was poisoned.

It'd be pretty funny, watching such a fat man roll around on the floor like that, if, you know, he hadn't just been poisoned.

Quinn, for her part, quickly goes to Lay On Hands!

Samuel shudders, and relaxes on the ground.

He looks about himself. What just happened? He asks, confused and concerned.

"...I think you managed to get yourself poisoned, too," Quinn says, figuing Samuel completely inept if he got slipped his own mickey.

Brianna watches!

Zamira accompanies Shrike. Looks like something fell... should we check with the infirmary?

[billtodamax]

What, poisoned? Samuel says. What do you mean? He asks, looking around the ground confusedly. He leans forwards, managing to sit up. He grabs the edge of Brianna's bed, and stands up, wobbily.

[The Bushranger]

"Nah...this is old, at least a week." Shrike waves her hand at the lake expressively. "Either they know about it and we're too late, or they don't, and it's too late..."

All right. Let's get going to our room, then.

[billtodamax]

"Nah...this is old, at least a week." Shrike waves her hand at the lake expressively. "Either they know about it and we're too late, or they don't, and it's too late..."

"What I mean is you looked like you were halluncinating, and there was poison in Brianna's glass," Quinn says, sounding like a fierce momma bear.

Poison? But that was the first time I had opened that brandy... His face suddenly turns cloudy. Dammit Tim! He says, loudly and angrily. I hope you're getting a good laugh about all of this! He shouts to the ceiling. Tim's well... I suppose you could call him a friend of mine. I knew I should have gotten this brandy checked by someone.

[The Bushranger]

Quinn looks startled...then relaxes. "Oh. So...it wasn't deliberate, then?" She sighs, sounding relieved.

Shrike nods, and instinctively reaches for Zamira's hand to let her lead the way there!

Zamira squeezes Shrike's hand as she leads the way!

...oh, great. That poison could have killed someone.

Quinn looks startled...then relaxes. "Oh. So...it wasn't deliberate, then?" She sighs, sounding relieved.

Shrike nods, and instinctively reaches for Zamira's hand to let her lead the way there!

What! Of course not! Samuel says. Probably not, knowing Tim. He'd just have wanted to have a laugh.

[McBish]

An owl flies low over the camp and towards the woods. It's talons just nicking the roof of the main lodge as it flies by. If anyone watched it closely enough they may see it fly into the woods, and literally into some branches of a tree. And if they aren't watching they still might hear the crash.

[The Bushranger]

"Well, he needs to be more careful, if I'd been affected we all would have been in really, really bad shape." Quinn finds a chair and drops into it.

She then looks up as she thinks she hears something!

Shrike actually blushes a little as a few more old memories sift their way into recollection, and squeezes back as they reach Zamira's room. "You go freshen up first," she offers.

And Zamira goes to take a shower!
