{ACRO} GLoG 50: Rife with new Life.

[The Bushranger]

Quinn returns the bow and smiles. "You're very welcome, Keri. And you can feel free to visit anytime, alright?"

Jamie is busy stuffing her face with bread and doesn't notice.

Brendan looks a little...dissapointed? Concerned? Something like that... "You don't? How come? We could try and find a place if you wanted, or move back to your place on the other side..."

[McBish]

Maybe. She says but it sounds like she doubts she will. And she steps outside. And her body starts to change and shrink, her clothes and weapons sink into her skin and soon she is an owl. And looking up at the night sky she flaps her wings taking off into the night sky.

[Recaiden]

No. It's cold, and I don't like the separate cabins, and other than you, I haven't seen a single person I knew from the old building. And we didn't always do much back there, but here, even when I'm here, we do nothing.
She frowns, seeing his disappointment or something.
What's wrong? That?

[The Bushranger]

Quinn watches Keri go in wonderment, then returns to take care of Jamie...

"It's just...I...thought you were happy here. And I don't want you to be unhappy." Uh-oh. Brendan's look is rapidly changing to "kicked puppy". "Maybe...we could help to do more, or something..."

[Recaiden]

I know we can. It's not your fault, she says, seeing his look. I am happy here, because you're here. Because I brought my metalwork in that wagon. But I don't really like the place.

[The Bushranger]

Brendan looks a little happier, and goes to hug her close. "Well, if you ever do want to go anywhere else, that's fine with me, alright? And maybe we can make it more...happier here or something, too." He trails off realising how silly he sounds, and has to chuckle at himself.

[Recaiden]

No, I shouldn't leave here yet, however much I hate it. I still have things to learn from it. Ashna returns the hug tightly. Now, how will you do that? Do you have another one of you around here? An infinite supply of metal?

[The Bushranger]

"There's only one of me, for better or for worse," Brendan says, blushing a little, "and I don't know about an infinte supply, but I might be able to get some rarer metals for you to work with." Smiling, he considers. "And I guess I have a lot of things to learn, too...maybe we can learn them together, then?"

[Recaiden]

Better, I think. Okay, but be careful. Most likely, I'll just ruin them at first. She nods, remaining sad. We can.

[Neon Knight]

A flat metal disk descends from the sky, veering down towards the main lodge of Camp GLoG. Spinning, catching the light in bright winking flashes, it comes to rest directly in front of the main lodge, 3 curved metal struts unfolding from the bottom to dig into the soil.

The flat top of the disk shimmers and then projects a holographic image. Please get any "help me Obi-wan Kenobi" jokes you want to make out of the way right now.

The person projected by the image is facing away from the front door of the lodge when the playback begins. She has several features that should help identify her to her viewers. The long raven black hair and the vestigial wolf ears and tail from her body's first iteration are both Cierra's, and when she turns around (or if you were just on the other side of the projection) her identity holds out to be Cierra.

Her attire seems a bit odd, as she seems dressed for a football game (international football, not American football.) Her hair is tied up and back in a ponytail, and she wears a red jersey, blue shorts, blue socks, and cleats. The jersey has the number 2 on the back and the word "Synchronicity."

When Magtok sees the jersey, the words Synchronicity change and shift to the word "Player."

Oh, and another detail to the soccer motif is that she has Happy's severed head tucked under one of her arms. She drops it to the ground and plants her foot on it as if it were a ball. "Hello, GLoG, and all other concerned parties. By now, I'd imagine you're confused and mystified by this whole affair. As well as probably wanting something back." She rolls Happy's head with her foot. "If you want answer, and you want Happy's head, come by way of the No Leaf Clover Motel."

The hologram then begins to repeat its message.

[Lord Magtok]

After picking it up on the MagSat, a clone immediately telewarps to the location, makes his own copy of the recording, and then tries to poke a finger at the word "Player". That word could only be bad, and this Motel thing definitely warranted further investigation.

[Neon Knight]

Being a hologram, the word doesn't respond to being poked. It just stubbornly remains "Player" to Magtok's vision and is "Synchronicity" to everyone and everything else.

[billtodamax]

Oh my! Samuel says to Magtok, standing next to the hologram. Do you think someone should go along to investigate? I'm afraid I don't know the lady involved. He admits. But that's just disrespectful! He says, as if that were the great crime.

[happyturtle]

Happy's ghost watches the hologram.

"My head? They took my head?"

She shudders and tries to turn away, but when she does, her ghost head is left in place and begins floating slowly towards the ground.

[Lord Magtok]

Magtok gives the both of them a weird look as he heads roughly in the direction of the No Leaf Clover Motel.

Err...yeah. Yeah, I suppose some people should head on over. 'm a bit concerned about the word "Player" being on the shirt and stuff, but yeah, someone should go investigate.

[billtodamax]

The word on the shirt wasn't player, it was Synchronicity. Samuel corrects. He walks after Magtok. So just where is this clover place? He asks, curious.

[Lord Magtok]

Magtok shakes his head, turns around, and points at the shirt again.

Player. Right there, next to the number two. It was "Synchronicity", and then it got all shifty and went to the word "Player". And it's by that road down there, to the left of the nondescript landmark, just past the entirely insignificant geographical feature.

He then continues along.

Samuel nods in a pitying manner. Yes yes, I'm sure. He says, going to pat Magtok on the back.. He'll continue to walk alongside Magtok, towards the No Leaf Clover Motel

A headless ghost follows Magtok and Samuel.

[horngeek]

Plot clone of Daisuke looks at Happy's head. ...what are you doing down there, Happy?

[McBish]

An owl can be seen flying over the camp ground for a good portion of the day. It seems like it is a bit lost, flying in one direction, then back the way it came, then in a new direction.

[happyturtle]

The mouth of the disembodied head moves, but without any ghost lungs to give ghost air, no sound comes out.

[horngeek]

Brianna looks up at the owl.

...she can't fly, so she can't do any more.

[McBish]

The owl flies for some time then lands in a tree near the campground twisting it's head around looking at everything.

[horngeek]

It might see Brianna looking its way in interest.

[McBish]

The owl looks back and then jumps off it's branch and glides to the forest floor out of sight.

[horngeek]

Well... Brianna has no way to know it's anything more than just an owl. So, she keeps sitting there.

[McBish]

Nope but soon enough she may spot another pair of watching eyes from the woods, it's Keri. She still seems pretty shy and not sure if she should approach the camp, though her wounds are gone thanks to Quinn's healing.

Brianna waves. Hello.

[McBish]

The young girl ducks down in her hiding place again, and then slowly comes out and heads over to where Brianna is. She seems a bit nervous still glancing around as if expecting an ambush. Hello there, I um, wanted to thank you for offering to help me yesterday. She says, though something seems to be bothering her.
