Quinn leans against the counter to eat in companionable silence.

But it's mostly Jamie's dream.
However, Rachel does make the monkey close its mouth and go back to clowning around.


Tomris finishes the first mufffin...and starts on the second. Cool!

And that's what happens, the monkey getting a very comical look of surprise, too.


"Good, aren't they?" Quinn says, finishing her muffin and eschewing a second.

Rachel giggles at the monkeys again!

Yes, they're really good, says Tomris, as she finishes up her second.

Jamie giggles as well!

Oh dear. The monkeys are fading. Seems she's starting to wake up!

I guess that means Rachel's waking up, too.



Here at GLoG? I was chasing some deer, she says. Deer that could kill you, yes, but that's beside the point.

"And decided to stay?" Quinn asks, smiling.

Jamie sits up, yawning cutely and rubbing her eyes.

Well, someone told me to stay. So...pretty much the same thing, she says.


Rachel wakes up too, yawning.

"Oh. Who told you?" Quinn asks, curious.

Jamie looks around, looking hungry!

Some...half-god, I think. I ran into him in the woods, she says.


Kristin gets up and looks at the two awake babes. Maybe she should take them to the kitchen?

"Oh." Quinn, having no idea who that is, looks like she's about to say something else when a deadtime ooze lands on her head as her player's brain starts getting sleepy and he needs to cut back a bit...

Jamie looks at Kristin and smiles. "Food!" she says happily.

Well, I forgot his name, she says.


Oh! Food! She'll...feed them, somehow, I guess.

BR's still here for a little while, just not playing Quinn.

Well, there are the milk bottles in the Infirmary...

Jamie giggles and looks expectant. Her tummy rumbles!

Kristin gets a milk bottle (or two) for the babies, to give to them.

Jamie takes the bottle happily, giggling and going to drain it with gusto!

Rachel drinks from hers, too, while Kristin muses over what her little girl's name is.

Jamie would tell her! If she knew she wanted to know. *nodnod*

She finishes her bottle and burps happily!

She didn't even have to burp Jamie! She makes Rachel burp, though.

Still musing...R...something?

Jamie looks up, and smiles. "Rachel!" she declares happily.

Also, BR does need to deadtime now. 'Night!

Rachel... she murmers. She does get a hint of recognition.

Damien walks out of the infirmary, his Ohrwurms, invisible points of rhythmic pulsing, chorusing into his ears. He is looking a little pale.

With a flash of light, Jenny appears in GLoG, blinking. She then falls over, almost completely exhausted.

Nimai goes in to see how Anila is doing.

Anila was sleeping lightly, but her eyes open as Nimai approaches. She sits up and smiles at the girl. "Hello, Nimai." It seems the dragonblooded woman was doing much better.

[Outside]

A few moments behind Jenny, Renault steps through the portal that had connected this place to the aid tent inside the city. Through it many refugees escaping the fires and the rampaging insects had come. But the elf would be the last, as the shimmering gilded circle collapses behind him. With a small flash of golden light, it was gone.

Exhausted, the young wizard sinks to his knees in the grass. He falls forward onto his elbows and takes a deep breath, taking in the clean, earthy scent of the air, trying to clear his nose and lungs of the ash and smoke and the scent of death that he had just left behind.

Jenny slowly gets up, and starts to carry the diseased woman towards a large cabin. She hopes it's the infirmary.

Anila was sleeping lightly, but her eyes open as Nimai approaches. She sits up and smiles at the girl. "Hello, Nimai." It seems the dragonblooded woman was doing much better.

Nimai smiles back. "You sound a lot better."

Anila nods. "I feel a lot better, too."

[Outside]

Renault rolls over on his back and stares up at the night sky. He could hear the winds blowing through the leaves on the trees that surrounded the campground. A slight smile crosses the elf's face. This was a peaceful place.

Anila nods. "I feel a lot better, too."

"I'm glad. I know Avatar said you'd get better, but it was really scary right afterwards..." the young girl hops up on the bed and gives the Dragon-blooded a hug.

Anila returns the hug with a smile. "I'm sorry that you were frightened, Nimai. I never meant to scare you, and I am sure Avatar did not mean to either."

Nimai nods. "I know. Do you remember any of what happened after?"
