    Can we get the map reposted? I'm confused about how someone can end climbing in AD 50, your diagram of the entryways showed nothing on that east side, which is specifically why I had them move there.

    In any case, I assume I have an AoO from someone.

    Sweet on the deaths. But I was still curious about why there are stairs on that side, the little line thing you showed only had them on the north, west, and south sides of the tower. If there's no way to back my more fragile pals somewhere that they can't be flanked and surrounded, then it's going to seriously affect my strategy.

    Matching thumbs and middle fingers together, with a blade in the middle, Kern gathers energy for a small orb of ice, the dagger whirling of its own accord as frost gathers on its tip, being spun into a tightly wound web of crystal threads. One hand grabs the dagger as it slows, flicking the attack toward the final orc in the tower before it has a chance to prove a greater nuisance. "My thanks, Drace. A pity we haven't got everyone in here; these towers are more defensible than they look from the outside. Still, this is going to be a long battle."

    And Even with a 10, it's a hit vs Touch AC and you got you floor full of Orc corpses...

    Ah, well, that's a horse of another color, then. Glad the orcs apparently didn't think of that.

    Free: Shout to the other team: "They have more archers than anticipated, so clearing out the towers is going to be necessary. Once you take the southeast one, ranged fighters should attack those in the northeast tower if needed, basically making the enemy ranged fighters our main target. Keep the dogs there to guard the ranged fighters. Luis, same for you with the northwest tower, target them. Kern, you too, if you can handle the dead orc's bow, and if not, just use magic as the opportunity arises.

    Then go to AD-50 and dislodge the steps there. Let me know the action needed, and whether it removes both steps or just one of the two on that side.

    Done, unless I have another action left, in which case I'll move to another of the step spots.

    Luis ducks under the orc's swing, and then watches it go down from Kern's attack. He gives Kern a quick salute for dispatching the orc attacking him. "My thanks, Kern. Now let's see what I can do about these orcs in the other tower!" He turns around toward the northeast tower, dislodging an arrow at the orc who shot an arrow at him from there.

    Attack: (1d20+5)[13] (not accounting for range penalties, since I don't know what they are. 60' range with a shortbow, yeah?)
    Damage: (1d6)[1]
    If Crit: (1d20+5)[6]
    Additional Crit Damage: (2d6)[7]

    And he'll kneel and stay where he is for this turn.

    Edit: It might help if I can deal more than piddly damage every time.

    Well, they had a regular d20, which says to me the mod is probably -2, but that was a longbow.

    Each of the four steps is 10' wide, so if you down one, the whole side gets incomunicated. To down one is amove action, while restoring it is a full round action that requires two persons.

    Drace moves to the south steps (don't want to drag out the map for this, I'll just say AA 51 and assume that works) and dislodges them.

    There, this will solve our problem. Although it might have been amusing to wait until there were orcs on the steps before removing them, we can't take those kinds of chances. Maybe later, if there is such a thing as later. One more set, then we save the last for an emergency exit. No one will get through.

    Braem gets hit and now is unconciuss in the ground. Forgot Cat's Grace, he's not hit, and therefore he helps flank the orc with Mallard, and is now gone. Harry is also hit, but just 1 damage. The orc in ground dies, he also forgot to attack. Harry hits the orc, but is not enough to put him down.

    This triggers Braem's action to climb and he does so +15

    Kern's Turn.

We've certainly got a lot of targets." He ducks down again, not wanting to attract more attention than necessary. "I've got two shards at the ready, but I don't want to waste them on single enemies."
