Digimon: Tamer Wars(Group 1)

Daniel, Selena, Alex, Patrick, and Michael begin in their respective homes. Alone at the computer, doing whatever they choose to be doing at the moment. Suddenly a bright white light overtakes them, first radiating from the center of the monitor, then filling it, then glowing til it overtakes everything within your vision in seconds.

You feel ...light. Weightless. You're vision returns, and you find an unusual sight. Digimon, lots of them. They look like each one you've ever gotten, virtual pets, video games, anything. Each one looks just how you thought they would in your minds eye. They all look towards you, and you know what you've got to do. Pick one, select one to partner to yourself. You feel something, a weight in the ethereal sensation of weightlessness. On your wrist is a device, almost like a watch, with lots of buttons and a screen.

Instinct begins taking over as you know what to do, which buttons need to be pressed. Voices of your digimon all call out, each one shouting reasons to be picked. You can take only one.


Taisuru stands with Kotemon. Digimon take positions as the mounted digital cannon is prepped. Skullmeramon, the strongest digimon with the highest energy output, takes his position. His immense heat and firepower output fuels the gun. As he readies himself the air wavers around him, a sign he's beginning to output great heat.

Skullmeramon "Ready, fire at will"

A light begins to form in the sky, the digidestined should be appearing at any moment.

[Taisuru]

"Here we go" says Taisuru, wrapping his scarf tightly around his jaw.

Taisuru shoots at the bright light without hesitation, SkullMeramon's power being fueled into the cannon, heating the surrounding air to unbearable levels. Taisuru's scarf flaps wildly at the firing of the weapon.

Selena is talking to friends on Facebook! When all of a sudden, she is standing in an open field. There is a strange device on her wrist, and there is a giant herd of tiny monsters. Hey! She remembers these things. They were just like those creatures from that video game she used to play. What were they called... Digimon! That's it.

Suddenly instinct takes over. She needs to pick one of them. That's when she sees the cutest little thing. It's a yellow pufball with cat ears and a tail. She walks over to it and picks it up.
You're Nyaramon right?

He was just finishing his latest fanfiction when this weird light starts coming from his monitor.
And now for the finishing touch....wait... whats happening....ARGH

.....what is this place

The first thing he notices is the three foot high black dinosaur like creature in front of him.

Daniel may notice Selena standing not too far away from him. She is holding the cute little kitty puffball of Nyaramon.
Yep! That's me! I wanna be your digimon!
I am NOT going to have her say Nya after every sentence like Fiddler does.

Really? Well if you're gonna be my digimon you have to tell me WHERE THE HELL WE ARE!

Right when Selena finishes yelling, Nyaramon begins to glow. And with a flash of light Nyaramon is gone. And now Selena is holding a cute little puppy!

The enviroment around everyone except Taisuru is a sort of void/plane. You're standing on what appears to be a flat plane, though it's black in every direction, even downwards. Don't try to think about what you're walking on.

The digimon however have been told this is "where tamers choose". Nobody knows what or how it is, but it's where new tamers arrive when they first go to the digital world. The digimon candidates all also appear.

As well, most of the candidates were rounded up by a MagnaAngemon, after spending a while in training, along with potential candidates for other tamers who haven't appeared yet, and may never appear.

[Godna]

"Oh dear, Looks like i need to make a note, 3 days no sleep and I go crazy... No harm taking part in this dream I guess." Patrick thinks as he arrives.

Patrick looks around and spots one digimon further from the rest kind of left out, and not really trying as hard to get picked.

"Huh, Well if this is a Freudian dream I should chose him. Looks like Impmon...cool he was always awesome." Still in thought Patrick walks calmly through the mass of digimon toward Impmon and Speaks directly to it.

"You and I are two of a kind. We are both alone even when surrounded by others. We alone know the greatest sorrow is not just to be alone, but to be alone even in the company of others. Only someone that knows that pain is worthy of being with me."

Impmon watched on silently as his new tamer speaks. He had been passed over countless times, but this one chose him readily.

[Raynn]

Alex rubs his eyes as the light fades away seeing the strange new world full of monsters before him, all begging to be chosen.

All save for one, utterly silent. Alex steps forward and kneels to face the Ryudamon.

"I don't want to pick one of you..." Alex whispered so only Ryudamon could hear.

"Because...?" Ryudamon questioned still emotionless.

"I don't want to pick a slave to fight for me..."

"So you wish to be chosen?" Ryudamon said with interest.

"Better than to claim mastery over another life."

Ryudamon smiled "Human ronin, you will do."

Alex smiled back "You'll need a name digi-ronin."

With a confused look Ryudamon replied "All digimon use the name of their..." Alex cut him off "I know all Ryudamon are called Ryudamon, what's your name?"

Still a confused look Ryudamon replied "Ryu..." Alex cut him off "Nice to meet you Ryu, my name is Alex, Alex white."

Michael was just finishing his paper on the plants of southern Ohio when his screen began to glow and he was sucked into the screen What the heck was that? he says as his vision clears. Seeing all of the creatures around him, he gasps. Digimon are real? That's awesome. Though picking one will be tough

As Michael walks through the rows of digimon, a small red blur catches his eye. He yells out to the shape, wait, who are you?

A small, sort of lizard looking creature stops to look at him, my name is Elecmon. You should know that, especially considering I helped you win that digimon card battle tournament.

Well, considering we already know each other a bit, how about we be partners? Michael will say with a smile.

Well, I figured you would pick me, so I didn't worry about a lot of blabbing. Elecmon says with a grin.

I guess it's agreed then Michael says, pressing the button to make Elecmon his partner

Me, I am Daniel, but everyone calls me Dusk, and what do you mean by digidestined like in the TV?

TV?... I don't know, but you are here and you got one of those thingies the black lizard says while pointing to the watch-like device on Daniel's wrist.

This... well, I guess I am one of them.

Then you must choose a partner.

A partner huh? so Blackagumon, will you be my partner?

Heh. I was waiting for you to ask that.....partner.

[Viera Champion]

Selena has her pink digivice watch thingy on her left wrist. In her ATMs I'd that cute little Solomon. That's about the time she sees Daniel.
Hey you! Please tell Me you aren't an illusion?!

[Dusk Eclipse]

Illusion... no I am real, I am dusk by the way

[Jayngfet]

Daniel, Selena, Alex, Patrick, and Michael , all conversations are cut off, vision becomes blurred. Things go bright again, the sensation of rushing wind. Visions begin filling your eyes, other humans.

Flash
Six humans, six partners. A digimon you can't quite make out instructs them "You have to be fast, you need to be quick. You gotta get the first move-"

More humans, each one with there partners training. Some dialogue floats up:

"Guilmon, aim low!" A tamer calls.

"Pyro Sphere!" His partner unleashes a fireball, streaking from his mouth to a wooden target, legs exploding and toppling it.

A single human teenager and a goblimon.

The human boy "We're lost."

"I know exactly where we are!"

"Where then?"

"Right here!"

Flash

A large man, grinning and eyes set on his opponent, wrestles a grizzlymon. "Come on, hit me with your best shot!". Around him several smaller digimon cheer.

Flash

You catch a glimpse of more, however at that moment blinding pain overtakes you, a heat that warms you and burns you to a crisp. You black out, and when you come to you're all in the middle of a large crater, in the middle of a large field.

Taisuru Hits the target, the light goes down. Falling from it's target, another digimon warlord, it drops like a stone. As it touches the ground there's a bright flash of light, and some smoke.

Skullmeramon "Looks like they landed in the document fields! Tai, thats your cue to play welcome wagon!"

[Taisuru]

Taisuru sighs and heads over to the crater, watching as the newest arrivals pick themselves up.

"Yo, guess you didn't get to banged up from the shot." He mutters something rude under his breath. "Welcome to the digital world. Make sure you all still have all your limbs and get ready for some fun times." says Taisuru unenthusiastically. Kotemon snickers nearby.

Why do I feel like I just got tackled by an entire football team? Michael will say making his way to his feet. Wait, Elecmon, where are you at? he says, looking around frantically, his messenger bag moving, wrapping around his waist.

I'm fine, just a little dusty the small red digimon says as it stands and shakes off the dirt.

Michael will look around and pull a small red plastic box out of his bag and asks the group Anyone need some first aid? I've got my kit with me, though I'm not super sure how it came with me into the computer. Michael seems more interested in the group in the crater then the guy at the top talking to them.

[Jayngfet]

[B]Daniel, Selena, Alex, Patrick, and Michael[/B See two figures at the edge of the crater. Taisuru and Kotemon. See his above post for what he's doing. And yes, your digimon are with you.

Selena stumbles as the light dissappears. Once she regains her footing, she hears and sees Taisuru and rolls her eyes.
This is the lame welcoming party they sent us?

Nice place you got here Solomon.

"Hmmm seems we aren't alone" Patrick things as he takes a quick view of the surroundings.

He speaks quietly to Impmon
"got any idea whats going on?"

He pulls himself to his feet, and brushes himself off a bit, and offers his hand to Impmon.

After both are on their feet Patrick rifles through his pockets.

"Thats Tai, nobody talks to him much."

Patrick looks uneasily at Tai for a second before speaking to Impmon again in a slightly hushed voice"Is he always like this?"

Patrick turns to face the Taisuru and asks "Pardon me, but what are we doing here. I was enjoying a late night gaming session with a friend and the next thing i know I'm surrounded by digimon, or creatures similiar to them..." Patrick's face tilts slightly skyward in thought before he turns to ask Impmon "You are a digimon...right?"

[Taisuru]

"I'll have you know that I am Taisuru, several time savior of 2 worlds." He mutters something under his breath again.

"Yes, you're all in a world where digimon exist. If it wasn't for me you'd probably be being whipped by some scumbag warlord, so be happy I only shot you with a laser."

He motions for SkullMeramon to come over, along with the other digimon around him.

[Dusk Eclipse]

Warlords? Savior of world? what the hell are you talking about?

[Godna]

"That brings up a question actually, Why did you shoot me..." at this Patrick looks around at the others. "Rather us..."

[Jayngfet]

From beyond the edge of the crater a white-blue glow approaches. As it nears it resolves into a humanoid shape. It looks to be a man made almost entirely of intense flame, the only solid parts appear to be coal black pants, a metallic skull, and chains wrapped around his body. The air is noticibly warmer with his approach.

"He means, you've been brought here because this world needs you. You've watched enough tv to know how this sort of thing goes."

Several other digimon appear behind him. You recognize several of them. A centaurmon, part machine, part beast, walks over waving it's prehensile hand it looks with it's one glowing red eye.

Next is a piddomon, touching down as angelic wings flap gently, purple cloth trailing behind. In his hand is a golden staff, clutched by a marble white hand. He gives you a grin, and looks with eyes hidden behind a metallic mask.

Third is Ogremon, bony weapon slung over his shoulder, horns stretching out from the face and pointed to the heavens,white hair trimmed short.

[Taisuru]

"Well, let's see what you newbies can do. HEY OGREMON, I'M CALLING IN THOSE BITS YOU OWE ME! You versus the newbies plus me, let's go!"

[Jayngfet]

"Right! Anything to clear a debt!" Ogremon leaps backwards, bounding several steps away from the crater as he holds his club ready in one hand.

"Pummel Whack!" He fires a bolt of dark energy from his free hand impacting at the feet of Taisuru and Kotemon, kicking up a large cloud of dirt and dust and obscuring their vision.

[Godna]

"Woah! Hold on now! I'm not sure I'm ready to do this" Patrick says as he looks at the large green digimon than something comes to mind and as is his nature he is quick to say it. "...hey wait a tic, Didn't you say you've saved the world a couple times? How would it be a test of our skills if you've already made it a foregone conclusion? Patrick begins pacing in thought "and you never answered my question..."
