Corset and soft being in the same sentence makes my head hurt.

I don't think I'm using the right terminology, but there are "hard" corsets, that are more body modification tools than items of clothing, there are "soft" corsets that are more just a particular style of clothing with some gentle midriff shaping, and there are ones in the middle that, say, are tight and constricting enough to make certain forms of movement a bit difficult, but don't squish your organs around or anything like that. The boning (hardy har Dis Though I did think that too <.<) can be more bendy plastic, or much firmer metal (or, once upon a time, baleen).
So yeah, it is not necessary for your head to hurt

Anyway, Em looks nice, and her boyfriend's got some sweet (alliterative) sideburns.

I may be rather silly, but I do age.

Really? I don't think I've changed much in appearance... It might be the angle or something. My chin doesn't usually protrude the way it does in the last picture and my hair doesn't usually do that flowy thing.

Waaaay out in the middle o' nowhere. Near the McDonald Observatory, Ft. Davis, and Balmorhea, if any of those happen to ring a bell. The nearest "city" would be Midland, I suppose, but that's 2 - 2.5 hours away on the highways. There's not even cell phone signal at the camp itself, partly due to the mountains and partly due to isolation.

Fun fact: With that link I've actually posted two pictures to this thread now, as the banner they're using for advertising at the top of the page there features yours truly, in one of the only photos of myself that I actually like. It was also used in scouting magazines all over for BTSR's ad...so I'm a celebrity, y'all.

Why thank you. I get that a lot. It's the former: my ears are pretty large for my head. I get it from my dad.

The hat is a legit hat. It has worked hard, earned its stripes, and then some! It's actually the second one of the same variety I've owned; when I started working at BTSR in '07 I bought one just like it, wore it every day there, and liked it so much I just kept wearing it every day even in the off-season...it's now a trademark of mine. And I know how to throw it Oddjob-style pretty well, too!
