My senior year prom my date and I did a white-and-lavender sort of coordination. Rather, she picked her dress, and I picked my outfit to match her.

I had a lot of fun, though, because I chose a long white jacket with a lavender vest, and I had a lot of fun with it.

This was just under five years ago now, since it would've been prom my senior year. My hair was a lot more...weird back then.

Of course, it did a better job of hiding my annoying large ears.

Magnor, that is a very cool suit! my first thought when i saw your photo is that you look like you could be one of the beatles (must be the hair).
I don't have any copies of my year 12 formal photos... will have to ask my mum to scan and email them to me.

thanks everyone for the hair-praise. i love it. naturally it's a dirty, mousy blonde, looks grey when i get re-growth, i don't like it much, but it's easy to dye over :)

Not only is that huge compliment for me, as I am a Beatles nerd, but it's quite funny because I got that. A lot. I think it was the first thing my dad said when he saw me wearing the full ensemble!

they are A-dorable little things. make brilliant pets. have kept *quickly counts on fingers* 17 over the last 14 years and influenced at least 5 friends into keeping them too. and i love ferrets! but they are illegal in QLD, NT, WA and (i think) TAS, and i kind of want to option to be able to live/study in those states in the next 5-7 years without risking a $60000 fine...

and as much as i hate to post another picture after no one else has posted... it's raining today and my little Ryuichi Sakamoto is being very vocal, active and cute.

Also, my mother would scream and run away if you showed her that. She has an honest-to-God phobia of frogs, especially small (okay, you don't have that bit...), smooth, green ones.

Wait, what?

This is the first I've heard of this, and I've know a couple of people in WA who owned ferrets (and maybe still do). There's even a WA Ferret & Ferreting Society. I think a couple of years ago they had their annual ferret race in a park near where I now live. So, I'm 100% certain it is not illegal to own ferrets in WA.

Several years ago if you were bringing ferrets into WA from other Australian states they had to have a quarantine inspection, but it looks like that law was repealed in 2007. However it is illegal to bring in ferrets from overseas, due to quarantine laws.
