Len looks at Riv.

Magic? I'm no bard, my music isn't magical, I just enjoy playing.

The crowd is not amused by all the music playing. They want blood.

"FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!"

Alright, now that we've got the crowd worked up, I do believe it's your time to die. Says Riv, charging at Len and attempting to break his jaw.

[Rae Artemi]

Len looks up and blows, propelling himself toward the ground, and throws a knife at Riv's stomach. He starts playing again.

[ThirdEmperor]

Riv grabs the knife, then contiues towards Len. Stop dodging and start killin!

[Rae Artemi]

Len puts his ocarina away.

If you wish.

Len removes his scarf, takes it in both hands, and pushes off of the ground as hard as he can toward Riv.

Riv stops himself and prepares to stab Len when he get's close, tapping his heels to extend his boot blade.

Len twists to get around Riv, and avoid the boot knife, and tries to get the scarf around Riv's neck.

[ThirdEmperor]

Len succeeds in getting the scarf around Rivs neck, at which point Riv attempts to headbut Len, simultaneously ttempting to kick him with the boot blade.

[Lix Lorn]

A gate opened, a tear in reality, starting as a tiny hole, and growing into a gate big enough for an army.

It was almost an hour after she had recieved the note, and Emily came through the gateway. She was followed by many, many people, most of which resembled her.

"Riv." she shouted.

Another Riv teleports to right next to where she appeared. You'll get your chance once I kill him.

(Len is behind Riv, so the boot blade probably won't work)

Len puts a foot between Riv's shoulderblades and jerks back, avoiding the headbutt and pulling the reinforced scarf tighter around Riv's neck.

(The boot blade is extended from the back of his boot.)

(well, Len is positioned pretty high on Riv's back, so unless he's a world class gymnast, it probably won't do much)

Choking, Riv cuts at the scarf with the knife.

[Lix Lorn]

Emily growls at him, angrily.

[Rae Artemi]

The scarf is reinforced with a chain mesh, so the knife doesn't get all the way through. Len takes both sides of the scarf in his right hand and pulls as hard as he can, throwing a knife at the back of Riv's head.

[ThirdEmperor]

Riv dodges the knife by rapidly flipping forward, attemping to throw Len in front of him and stab him with the stolen knife!

Riv growls back at Emily. Tiger growls in fact. (hoo boy is he having fun mocking you.)

Len grabs the scarf with both hands and pulls harder, trying as hard as he can to stay on while Riv flips.

[ThirdEmperor]

Suddenly Riv stops dead, attempting to flip Len in front of him (holding the scarf or not) and stab him with the dagger.

(How exactly do you suddenly stop in zero gravity?)

Len goes flying perpendicular to Riv's back (physics are a cruel mistress, no?) and heads toward the wall. Just before he hits, he flips around and plants his feet on the wall, grabbing a sword, and jumps back toward Riv.

[Lix Lorn]

She glared at him again. She fully intended on tearing him apart.

[ThirdEmperor]

Riv smiles at her.

[ThirdEmperor]

Riv flies over to the wall and grabs a spear, setting it against Len's charge.

[Lix Lorn]

She glares right back.
He might notice that she doesn't look the same as earlier. Rather, he looks as she did originally, before the fight.

[Rae Artemi]

Heh, you think you're smart, using a spear against a sword?

A projection appears below Len, grabbing him and tossing him to the ground.

Len hits the ground and bounds up at Riv from below.

Oh, and that wasn't magic either, by the way.

"Thankee."

Ermine grins at Ba'al, never one to pass by free booze. The pirate then turns her attention back to the fight.

"Looks like ruddy magic ta me..."

[Gnrlshrimp]

"Yeah, kind of have to agree. Who cares though, as long as bloody is spilled, right?" Ba'al laughs and takes another swig of his drink, then bellows at the combatants, "COME ON! SPILL SOME BLOOD ALREADY!"

"Rip each'odder's 'earts out and see who can show em to da odder first!"

Ermine also laughs. Classic pirate dare.
