Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
Option B - build a smaller ship from the bigger one.
We should take the planks from the bottom first, and build the mast and the cabins so that if it rains we have a roof on over our head.Check out past werewolf games at the Unofficial GiantITP werewolf archive

As the ship starts to sink, Phantom starts throwing objects out of his hat. A piano, a cannonball, a pair of shoes, a music box.

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
Sorry, Goof. Apparently, he was intimidated by the real thing and vanished without a trace.
Narration: Some of the passengers start trying to turn the remnants of the "Bandwagon" into a smaller more managable ship, while other more morbid members dive into the water and start looting the bodies of the pirates, looking for clues to where their ship is anchored.
Indurain stands on the deck, watching his vessel slowly sink to the briny depths. Noooo, now how am I supposed to get to the Swedish Swirling Swimsuit Swinger meet-up? So many girls, so many swirls.Last edited by Atreyu the Masked LLama; 2010-06-17 at 12:32 PM.

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
Poor Calar is working really hard to try to rebuild the ship, but the pieces keep disappearing as other passengers grab them to build a new ship. Calar grabs some boards and starts beating on the would be seatime architects trying to build a new ship. Unfortunately, this means that the Bandwagon isn't repaired and the replacement ship is barely sea-worthy.
Fortunately, the majority of the passengers dive into the water to search the dead for clues of the pirate's ship's whereabouts. Supagoof's electrified body has a map of the surrounding islands, with a large X over Pirate's island.
The passengers all board the slowly sinking replacement ship and paddle for all they're worth to the island where Pirates originated.
Unfortunately, in all the chaos, no one realizes that when Whitehelm was searching Supagoof's body he looted a piece of paper with a black spot. Not realizing the significance of the paper, Whitehelm is taken off guard when Davey Jones shows up and drags Whitehelm kicking and screaming to serve on his dread ship of the damned.
Whitehelm was dragged kicking and screaming off to serve on Davey Jones' ship of the damned. He was a passenger. Now's he's an undead servant to an evil supernatural pirate. Maybe it'll have an effect on Pirates VI.
Day begins with all our passengers sailing to Pirate's Island. Time to start voting for someone other than Murska.inner circle Legionary of Resiliance

Thufir, cause I have no idea who to lynch now.
Phantom has emptied most of the things that are not fruit on his hat. While paddling, he looks to see where the replacement boat is sinking the fastest.

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
So the question once again becomes, who would Castaras have scried last night? Any suggestions? Here's an update of my previously posted chart:
Spoiler{table=head]Player|Reason|DD?Just using this chart, my top suspects are:
PirateMonk|Random|No
Helgraf|Feeling Silly?|Yes
Fleeing Coward|Bandwagon|MIA
Reinholdt|25%|Yes
Mustiado|25%|Yes
Calar|"Sheep"|No
Zar Peter|"Sheep"|Yes
B-Man|All the Cool kids are doing it|MIA
cd4|"Sheep"|No
Thufir|"Sheep"|MIA
Valiant Turtle|Quack|No
Istari|"Sheep"|No
[/table]
NOTE: "Sheep" = No reason given, just following.
- Fleeing Coward- Very likely. He's been quiet as of late. He also literally started the bandwagon on Nehh.
- Calar- He's hard to judge, but he was a sheep. Yet, he didn't follow everyone on the Dallas bandwagon.
- Thufir- Also been quiet. Was concentrating on writing a song. Was that an excuse?
- Istari- Final nail in Nehh's coffin.
- PirateMonk- First to point, with Random on day three. But was that intentional?
- Helgraf- Second to point. Had pointed at Philistine, but changed to Nehh within a minute later. Helped kill DD though.
- Zar Peter- Was a Nehh Sheep, but did help kill DD.
Now, we've killed three other Pirates since then. But one (Supagoof) was auto'd. One was killed by Reinholdt's Beast item. And the third, well nearly everyone voted to kill. So they offer very little clues.
Robert Blackletter voted only twice. Once for B-Man and once for Crown of Thorns. B-Man was a passenger, and is dead.
Crown of Thorns has been sporadic in his voting, just barely avoiding the Autolynch. It's suspicious. But I have a feeling he's not a pirate.
cd4 voted fairly randomly, but everyone he voted for is dead, or missing, Smellie Hippie (Can we know what his role was? He was removed, by request, from the game, but he was given a role).
Which leaves Murska. He voted for four people who are still alive: Ranna, thePhantom, Timberwolf, and Deathslayer7.
Deathslayer7 is having computer problems, and has been removed "Stealing the Lifeboat" in the day 11 narration, but her role wasn't given out.
Ranna helped kill Dallas-Dakota. Which is in her favor. But why did Istari point at her during the Murska craze? He claimed he was fearful of a Beast effect.
thePhantom, everyone he's voted for has died. Only one of those by Night action, Shadow.
Timberwolf. Same as above, except for the Shadow part.
And.....
Fleeing Coward, I often make these lists. Not always, but often. Unlike a certain dead Pirate, I'm not always or even often a wolf. Thank you.
I still suspect him because, in his own words,
He plainly, and intentionally, started the bandwagon that got a possible seer killed. I'm thinking he is Shadow, the devil.
And with his post about lists, he is trying to persuade you that those who make lists are wolves. Well, without lists, without giving reasons, why should anyone listen to what I'm telling you?
I'm not just throwing out simple guesses. I'm giving you theories with reason. It's up to you to decide whether my theories are worth looking into.
He will argue against this post. And that is his right. But I will not respond. This is my last post `til the end of day. You either take a chance and listen to me, or you take a chance and listen to him.

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
Ah ha, the legendary pixie analysis. Well,I'm not going to claim I really understand why my voting is of particular interest above and beyond anyone elses and how it links with Murska pointing at me. I must say, I had no idea that voting for people meant they die. I thought they were going to be given a certificate and a small trophy...
Anyway, that's by the by. I understand her points about FC and that's enough for my vote.

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
((Fleeing Coward))
I must've dreamed a thousand dreams
Been haunted by a million screams
But I can hear the lynching bat
They're moving into the fleet
Now did you read the news today
They say the danger's here to stay
But I can see the nooses still upright
They're hanging into the night
There's too many crew, too many pirates
Making too many problems
And not much trust to go round
Can't you see this is a ship of confusion?
Well this is the ship we sail in
And these are the hands we're given
Use them and let's start pointing
To make it a place worth living on
Ooh, Evnafets where are you now
When everything's gone wrong somehow?
The men of HALO, the men of power
Are losing control by the hour
This is the time, this is the place
So we look to each other
But there's not much trust to go round
Tell me why, this is a ship of confusion
This is the ship we sail in
And these are the hands we're given
Use them and let's start trying
To make it a place worth living in
I remember long ago when the sun was shining
Yes, and the stars were bright all through the night
And the sound of your laughter as I held you tight, so long ago
I won't be coming home tonight
My playground will put it right
We're not just making promises
That we know, we'll never keep
Too many crew, there's too many pirates
Making too many wagons
And not much trust to go round
Can't you see, this is a ship of confusion?
Now this is the ship we sail in
And these are the hands we're given
Use them and let's start trying
To make it a place worth fighting for
This is the world we live in
This is the world we live in
And these are the names we're given
Stand up and let's start showing

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
I guess FC could be hiding I mean he was loud in Abhorsen (I think) and Murska took on the role to be loud in this game and it would be very good (for the wolves) to have both of them on team wolf.. maybe too good? But then they have got the baner and the seer killed already so it could be the work of some good wolves
Yea my vote goes for the chicken, I fancy a peanut Say-Tay stir fry personally, however I do know that many of you prefer the good old fashioned roast but I have eaten a roast recently and have to look out for the fat content.... no good being on holiday then coming home weighing more than the ship!*runs off and hides*

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
In the breaking up of the old ship a pile of gold looted off the less recent dead was found. Being especially concerned about fairness, it's passed around and everyone gets 2 gold.
As you continue to work on the ship / look for the pirate's ship, you drift close to an island. If you squint, you can see that there are several piratey folk wandering about, though you think they're not part of the crew that's plaguing you.
There are also three buildings on the beach. You will likely have to get closer to read the names on the signs, but they are:
The Crow's Nest
The Ironclad
The Invisible Hook
