Y'know, I doubt I'd mind roleplaying AMEN on the run if we do happen to get completely demolished here. The remaining members become fugitives, escaping, hiding. Not exactly a good situation, but it could be fun.

I thought it was kind of fun rebuilding GLoG at the campsite after their original base was destroyed. The old base had nearly endless mooks, money, defences, luxuries. Drones repaired it automatically whenever it got damaged. No autorezzing of members or superweapon, but otherwise kind of similar to AMEN.

But now we live in a campground that has a GIANT SLIDE! =D

I'll be honest...an army, much less one involving Exalts, sounds like a bit much to use as a distraction.

It's not really a full-scale army. Only about a battalion of ground troops.

So, with proper scaling, that means the good guys have a couple hundred armies on their side, and we have a few. Oh, and a superweapon and some traps and stuff.

On the one hand, I don't like the idea of having any sort of character restrictions in the Nexus.

On the other hand, Iames's army is waaaaay overpowered.

On the gripping hand, they're on the outside of the base, and I don't think they can really smash a mountain down from the outside... can they?


Honestly, I have no clue what the answer is, so I'm going to just stick with my low-powered people and let you high powered dragons and mechas and Exalteds and stuff fight it out.

To clarify: The army (and the commandos) are not composed entirely of Exalted. The vast majority of them are mortals who've had their magical abilities awakened. So are the commandos. There are Exalted in their ranks, but as officers and commanders.

Also, with their current resources, the army could only destroy the base with a protacted bombardment.

That still gives us several Exalted leading a score of men who were quite competent to begin with and are now magically empowered.

Still, far more powerful than any regular AMEN members. We have a superweapon, certainly, but dare we use it so close to the base?

And the Elder Evil... well, that could just go badly for everyone.

Anyhow, let me see if I'm getting this right:

Let's say, ten exalted leading fifty elite, magically reinforced, soldiers. Versus a sanely-powered spellcaster, one dragon, a low-level rogue with absurd amounts of luck, and whatever Jack is.

I don't see how protracted bombardment is nescessary when you can just kill all of us.

I can't imagine how, especially seeing as he isn't in control of his body and therefore is essentially prone on the floor until Iames lets me move.

I'm fairly sure the way Jack teleports, he's only in The Yellow Road for a fraction of a second. And once The Moff is back in NEXUS, the spell continues. So there's not really anything I can do.

Well, it's possible I overestimated AMEN's resources.

Moff, if you want, you can resist Cerise's orders and move as you want. It'll hurt, but you can do it, and it will also reduce how long the spell lasts. Also, if Cerise doesn't know he's back, she can't give him orders.
