Re: Keychain of Creation IV: The Lore Thing
Personally, it reminds me a bit more of another primordial. Although since he's implied to be a former subordinate soul of Dragon's Shadow the difference may be academic.

Re: Keychain of Creation IV: The Lore Thing
Wordblood, a character from an interactive adventure Jukashi ran (and will probably continue later) on another forum. He's apparently a fragment of one of the Primordials (an embodiment of language, originally subordinate to the embodiment of communication and expression, who was itself a subordinate of something else) that got cut off during the War, and is riding along inside the mind of the adventure's Lunar protagonist.
Edit: Just as a warning, the forum in question is an anonymous imageboard, so threads there are likely to be NSFW.Last edited by Eco-Mono; 2010-09-11 at 11:07 PM.

Why, thank you! Now that I have learned the secret of .png, the world is in my grasp! AHAHAHA!
Man, Marena is the last person there who ought to be raising eyebrows. Then again, Ten didn't exactly seem thrilled at her assessment of the Blessed Isle situation. I wonder if he's a noble, or an outcaste?
Also, Ten's coat = Pimpin'.Last edited by Revlid; 2010-09-13 at 10:07 AM.

Re: Keychain of Creation IV: The Lore Thing
There's just got to be a drunken master type martial art in creation. Ten should definitely learn it if he hasn't already.

Re: Keychain of Creation IV: The Lore Thing
I was going to suggest "in his enemy's face" but, looking at the charm, it seems more like "conveniently located at just the place and time that picking it up will cause him to duck an attack".

Re: Keychain of Creation IV: The Lore Thing
As a Terrestrial, Ten can learn up to Celestial Martial Arts. As an Immaculate Master, he's definitely already mastered one of the Five Elemental Dragon Styles, hopefully Water Dragon (as it is, barring mechanically unsound styles from Scroll of the Monk, among the strongest CMA around).

Re: Keychain of Creation IV: The Lore Thing
Personally, I'd pick Hungry Ghost Style for being one of the strongest styles, especially in the hands of a Terrestrial Martial Artist. Free reflexive Charms means you can go "Oh, you used another Charm to attack me? I siphon off another few motes from your pool and then use it to power my semi-perfect dodge Charm."

Re: Keychain of Creation IV: The Lore Thing
Hungry Ghost is strong, but it's broken strong IMHO. Since when did CMAs grant almost-perfect defenses with no WP cost? Well, other than Void Avatar Prana. But everyone hates Void Avatar Prana.
When in doubt, light something on fire.

Re: Keychain of Creation IV: The Lore Thing
I favor crane style myself, since it does have a true perfect defense that costs 0 motes (well, first time) at no real penalty to the style's strength (flaw of invulnerability: Cannot make attacks except counterattacks. Style's combat M.O.: COUNTERATTACK MUAHAHAHA!!!!), and unlimited free combos of its charms. Not to mention some very nice compassion stuff, but I'm not at all sure Ten has the compassion to take advantage of it. Very good subduing/training style, and very good for survival and flash.

Re: Keychain of Creation IV: The Lore Thing
Well, to an extent that's true. But it's not mechanically borked (like a lot of the Scroll of the Monk stuff), and those overpowered Charms add up to a pretty powerful style. The mix of poor prereqs helps balance it a bit.
And it might make more sense for Ten to use Air Dragon style, but I've yet to see him use any of its more noticeable Charms (unless that lightning bolt thing against the Sidereal was Lightning Strike Style, and not his anima going totemic). Of all the Elemental Dragon Styles, Water is the most powerful, so I'd hope he'd be using that.
Actually, looking back at the first Deathknight fight, he seems most likely to have mastered Fire Dragon Style - the use of firebreathing against immaterial opponents is a specific Charm in that style, as is the creation of obscuring smoke and fog (which I'm sure we've seen him do)Thanks to Andraste for the Void avatar.
