Re: MtG - Battle for Alara! The Battle BEGINS!
I am not in fact a Killer. For the record, I'm not even part of that shard. I am an Esper Battlemage. Internet Flea was falsely told by the now deceased Fleeing Coward that i was a Jund Night killer (Our shard had an alliance with his at the time). When I asked TheFleeingCoward about this his response was ''I got played'' and he did not offer specifics. This leads me to suspect Internet Flea. I will gladly post part of the PM I recieved from Sanity702 stating I am an Esper Battlemage and that I can add 5% to the chance of Tezzeret's ability functioning as my night action if anyone asks me to.
I learnt from Internet Flea that another player apparently defended me and lostlittlebear, but I have no idea wether lostlittlebear is a Night Killer or not.Last edited by Lord Loss; 2010-09-12 at 03:16 PM.

Re: MtG - Battle for Alara! The Battle BEGINS!
Fleeing Coward said he had a list of non-Jund killers. I gave him the names of people rakkoon had defended, and he said they were the killers. If I'm wrong, an Esper needs to come forward and defend them.

Problem is, role PM's are the same as the front page, and are therefore meaningless.

If the only remaining member of my team apart from myself is willing to unveil himself for my sake, very well then. Otherwise, my arguments are all I have to say to prove myself not a nightkiller.

Re: MtG - Battle for Alara! The Battle BEGINS!
Internet Flea is correct. Lord Loss and Lostlittlebear are the most likely Jund killers. I beg anyone out there who does not want to Jund to face stomp everyone else left, lynch the bear.

Wait, wait, wait... I'm pretty sure that if you weren't the night killer your teammate would be perfectly willing to unviel themselves mate.
Therefore: I unviel myself as Lord Loss's (Loss'?) team mate. He is NOT a jund nightkiller. Not only that Fleeing Coward would have known this. (Also he speaks the truth about his role.)

Re: MtG - Battle for Alara! The Battle BEGINS!
It is indeed Loss'. And okay, Lamech and Lord Loss claim themselves to be Esper. There are two esperites left. So, if you two aren't lying, you should have nothing against lynching the bear for today. Of course, if you are Jund, and bear is your teammate, then please continue to lynch me.

Well, I've been told that the bear is certainly Jund. Ergo, since I'm not with him, I'm fine with lynching him. :)

Re: MtG - Battle for Alara! The Battle BEGINS!
So I really hate to do this but... the whole 8ish votes and 1.5 night kills that jund have going needs to be stopped for a win. littlelostbear, is someone rakkoon has a interest in perserving. I assume he is jund, since rakkoon is jund, the guy whose vote grows in strength. cd4 is a jund battlemage.
The remaining two members of jund I suspect are among the people TheLaughingMan, Calamity, lex-kat, Internet Flea, Hap hazard, RedScholarGypsy
@Jund: Thats all we know, and we have no powers. We would definitly be a waste of a kill! :)

You're saying rakkoon is the vote-growth guy? Then I'm wondering why Hap-Hazard's been posting late votes on the biggest bandwagon nearly every day so far.

Re: MtG - Battle for Alara! The Battle BEGINS!
Well if nobody is going to counterclaim the Espers here, I'm going to assume that Hap-Hazard's the other Jund killer.
EDIT: Today's obviously "Stab Jund in the back" day, so if anyone else has any info they'd like to share, Jund can't kill us all.Last edited by Internet Flea; 2010-09-12 at 09:30 PM.

Crap Jund... I think I just lost us the game. Oh well IF, at least I managed to lynch you in Witchhunt
I'm going to keep my vote on AB at the moment because its the best shot I have at living, but anyone who doesn't want to get nightkilled by Jund should point at IF. If you manage to get him lynched I'll spare your lives.Last edited by lostlittlebear; 2010-09-13 at 05:47 AM.

Yeah, nice play Lamech to deflect attention away from Sarkhan. I don't mind sacrificing myself tonight - after all, I'm just there for scrying pretty much and this late in the game everyone's pretty much scried already and all my original scries are dead.
I think I can survive today though. Hap_hazard's still happily voting along with me because he's convinced that AB is Jund, and I think the rest of the voters aren't active enough to change their votes before the day ends.
If we keep up the pretense of being Espers and get hap_hazard lynched tomorrow we should be fine. I vote we nightkill Internet Flea on account of him actually being pretty active - and our policy of killing active players has worked well so far. If I survive I'll try scrying Bahumat too, for the same reason and if he's not the beast let him be our next night's target
EDIT:Someone from Bant really needs to contact me (I think everyone knows I'm a Nayan now.)

Re: MtG - Battle for Alara! The Battle BEGINS!
GAME END!
JUND WINS!
Calamity, Nicol Bolas, Sat bored out of his mind. Everything had gone sour and he now had no more reason to be here. His shard was falling apart and his last loyal companion was on the chopping block... he didn't even feel the need to help her! Sighing he opened up a rift, he would be back later when this once again interested him. When he could bring himself to once again care. As he prepared to leave a lone figure approached him.
I AM SIRIQ! One of the Last members of BANT! I shall Take you down for your treachery! Siriq drew his sword and with the might that would make any man tremble he charged, determined to strike the eldest dragon down. Nicol Bolas watched amused then with a flick of his wrist watched as the man slowly imploded... his screams were a delight to his ears. He turned and left.
Back on the main battlefield....
The army of Jund stood mostly intact and ready for action, there enemies were the remaining shards, Sarhkan stood at the head of his army he laughed as he felt two more souls leave this world... Now they were unstoppable their was now no one who could stand in their way.
COME MY FAITHFUL SERVANTS!!! TODAY IS OUR DAY! TODAY WE SHALL HAVE VICTORY!!! as one the mass that was Jund charged the other shards did there best to stand up to the mighty massive jund but they were no match. They were just to powerful...
Azure Butterfly refused to believe it was over, after the fact that yesterday her quarry had been killed by the infernal Lostlittlebear, she decided that she would at least take him and his mate out before she died she would not give them the satisfaction of being alive!
As she charged on her suicide mission she chased after LLB uintil he was trapped in a corner and a wicked smile graced her face. Then she sensed something, timid, she looked around and felt the blood, of all her victims, drain from her face. Surronding her stood the army of jund. Not just some of them the whole army. They charged, she screamed and was no more.
The massacure did not end their Jund proceeded to anihlate every other soul.... In the end they were the last ones standing.... But it wasn't over this had just been a skirmish. The real battle was about to come.... When the Shards converged....
Summary -
Spoiler
Azure butterfly was lynched she was Vein Drinker
Calamity was AL he was Nicol Bolas
Siriq was AL he was an Akraskan Squire.
GAME OVER!
Due to Junds night kills and the fact that Kresh is still alive they will control the vote from now on, and have enough night kills to secure victory.

Questions
1) Did you enjoy MtG - Battle for Alara? Did you like the narrations? If so which was your favorite?
2)Would you play again? (In MtG - Conflux - The Clash of the Shards) Which I already have scheduled.
3) Where the teams balanced?
4) Did you enjoy your role?
5) What would you like to see changed?
On a side note I have to say it was funny how many times people were scrying the same person and how often a person would scry someone who was about to die.I am alive!
It has been a very very long time.

Re: MtG - Battle for Alara! The Battle BEGINS!
The game was fun (though an autolynch loss is a bad way to go) and I'd play again. I think Jund and Grixis were overpowered with the number of kills they got, and it didn't help that Naya didn't have a scrier. I'd play again.
