"Awesome! I'd like one with ketchup mustard and red onion sauce if you have it, please? And I'm Jamie. Jamie Misaki Catherine Druid," Jamie introduces herself, then... "Miss Charity!" she waves happily!

"Hi Jamie," Charity says, and puts together a hot dog for Jamie. "Have you done much painting while I was away?"

Jamie smiles happily and nods. "Yeah! Well, some. Not as much as I'd like. Nimai and Mara and Abby and Holly and I have had to fight bad guys on a few occasions so I haven't had as much time as I'd want."

She accepts the hot dog with a smile. "Thank you, Miss Charity!" And she gives Sunny a wave. "Hello, I don't think we've met? I'm Jamie. Jamie Misaki Catherine Druid."

Krystal undeadtimes at the computer.

BR, meanwhile, decides to have Brendan pay a visit, and so he's walking up torwards the front door of the main lodge.

Well, Krystal won't notice him yet. Unless there's a window showing the front door.

I don't think there is.

((eep, missed this.))

Well, there are a few windows. However if Brendan doesn't get a answer at the front door, he'll head to the Infirmary, and knock there!

Not long after knocking at the infirmary, the door will open, and Brendan will be greeted by Krystal.

Hi! How can I help you?

"...oh, hello." Brendan smiles in greeting. "Somebody's actually here...I was just stopping in to check on the place, actually. Since I used to be a member."

Krystal stands back a little to let him in.

Used to be a member? Huh...

Well, place is going good so far. My name's Krystal, by the way. She'll hold out a hand to shake.

He steps inside, and accepts the hand to shake with a smile.
"Brendan Drake. Nice to meet you, Krystal"
And he nods. "I think technically Ash - Ashna - and I are still members. It's just that, well, she wasn't comfortable living here, so we live Inside now," he explains.

"She's from a different world...this kind of place didn't appeal to her," Brendan explains simply. "Plus I was opening a store Inside, so we live upstairs at it now."

"Brendan's House of Hobbies," Brendan says proudly. "I sell hobby and gaming materials, electronic equipment, and toys."

Wow. She smiles. That sounds like fun.

"It is," Brendan agrees with a smile...
...before getting slimed by a deadtime ooze.

Butler sighs at Susan. "Yes ma'am. I-" Oof! Just been glomped by Marley.

"Glad to see you too sir."
Butler pats Marley's back reassuringly as he gives him hugs.

"What? What happened to you!?" Susan asks, over-excited.

Quinn might be waiting a while.

Butler looks at Marley looking for something. "Need help with something sir?"

Turning his attention to Susan, he replies. "I was sent here to balance the see-saw ma'am. Have you seen one ma'am?"

Because we want to hold three conversations at once, Butler asks Quinn. "Is Mrs. Amakirr around ma'am? I'd like to speak with her ma'am."

Jazirian gets left out.

[Grill]
Presuming Nadas gets his Iced Tea, he largely eats and drinks in silence, until something occurs to him and he turns to Charity.
"Has there been any progress on the rescue mission for Phoenix while I was incapacitated?"

[Outside Guest Cabin Area]
It's probably a good thing that, to my knowledge, both Sunny and Charity have never met flaming hawt Reinholdt and know not what he looks like. I know flaming hawt Reinholdt ran from Charity on sight once. She frightens him. On the flipside though, Reinholdt has never met Sunny.

Why is this important? Well it may or may not come up because after a session or three with Liquid Agony at Trogs, broken leg Reinholdt C is returning here for the time being, heading to the Guest Cabin. Largely because Tobias is at GLoG. He might visit Melody or Vasilisa or Phoenix, but he is either too ashamed to or doesn't know where they are. And he'll get around to seeing Hannah when he needs more Agony, he's sure.

Neither Sunny nor Charity has met flaming hawt Reinholdt, though both know his kitty and catboy (Apocacon) forms.


[Grill]

Charity shakes her head. "No. I was going to meet with you to discuss our next move when we discovered the sleep field around your cabin. Do you know what caused it?"

Sunny has introduced herself and IZK-alpha to Jamie and is chattering away happily with her.

"I believe I was responsible for that. I was examining why a spell designed only to work on humanoids worked on a Teuthida marine Cephalopod. So I was testing it on the feline. Something obviously went amiss. I am concerned about the ambient magic in the area if such a weak spell could generate such a large and potentially damaging effect." What would have happened if he had cast grease or mage armor?

"I, er.. noticed something similar. I managed to create fireworks the other night when I expected only to make a small shower of floating lights." Charity seems to be coloring a little. Though since she's standing in the sun, just outside the shade of the trees, Nadas probably isn't looking directly at her anyway.

[Grill]

Of course Nadas is looking directly at her. He's talking to her isn't he? It's impolite to not look at someone you're talking to!
Though he probably doesn't notice at all, being completely unfamiliar with such things anyways.

"What purpose would floating lights serve? Were you unable to visualize properly?"

Charity decides that explanation will do. "Yes, it was rather dark out. Though it sometimes occurs as a spontaneous effect." She glances around. Seems to be a lot of people around. "I could try to do it again, so you could study it. It should be perfectly safe, since it's only illusions. It shouldn't be capable of actually starting a fire or anything, but... we should probably take precautions anyway."

[Reinholdt]

[Grill]

"Then we should probably test it in a cleared area, generally devoid of grass. Or at the very least, moist grass." Isn't there a little island on the lake that's clear?

Charity catches a glimpse of the ooc text. "The island, perhaps? We can take a paddleboat out there." Or a canoe, but canoes take a bit more skill and effort.

We'll just handwave that the hell portal isn't still there and open.

"Could you find me a spare cane, Butler? I lost mine."

I didn't even know about a Hell Portal.

Nadas grimaces. "I believe that would suffice." This means he has to actually... you know... paddle with his feet. And his robes are probably going to get wet. Oooh, outdoors why did you have to exist?

Unless I'm misunderstanding the boat.

[Infirmary]

"I don't have a cane sir. I ate them all last Thanksmasnewyearskwanzaakkah sir." Come on Butler. You know what a cane is. YOU'RE A BUTLER.

Charity leads Nadas to the boathouse, where she puts on a life jacket and offers him one, and then steps into the paddleboat.

It shouldn't get him too wet. If there were a dock on the island (which there isn't), then it would be possible to avoid getting wet at all.
