I am sorry for my rash condemning of poor Mr. Spall yesterday. However I cannot but feel hopeful for the future to such an extent as I have not felt since this calamity first began. It feels almost too good to be true.

I cannot believe it. This is all to unreal. It must be a trick, a trap on the part of our wily opponents, they are lulling us into a false sense of security! The moment we think we may be safe, that must be when they will strike! Constant vigilance must be maintained.

What can this mean?! I do not yet know what to make of our mysterious note-writer. Are they a benefactor, giving us words of support, or is this a ploy by the werewolves? More of their tricks!! Or is there even only the one person writing these notes? The handwriting in each seems to be the same, but handwriting can be imitated. Our foes are conspiring against us in a manner most foul, taunting us with these encouragements in the hopes that we will lower our guard and allow them to slaughter us at their leisure!! IT WILL NOT HAPPEN I SAY!!!

They do not howl tonight. Why is there no howling? Oh, the foolish citizenry may take this as a blessing, but I see malice in this. They fear lest we grow too wary, and so they do things quietly tonight. Perhaps they fear I will locate them by their infernal howling?! It may well be so. A noise!

Conduct an immediate roll-call, after which go round all the inhabitants to find who has been killed! The wolves would take us unawares, but we know their game. All must be constantly prepared for the horrors they may inflict.

I was gonna vote for Annon earlier, for the liability factor, but I only had my phone net, and couldn't send the post.

I'm wary about being perceived as a late tipper here - but I just don't really see bruntonspall as acting very wolfy. He's basically cool with sacrificing himself for analytical data, which should scream villager, right?

I...don't understand the logic. If the baner was successful, how is that evidence that his target is a wolf? Maybe he double-thought them out of it, and protected Ramsus or something?
