I'm going to say no to the retcon. I mean, seriously, how did you honestly expect them to react well to that?

Saving it for blackmail later, not a good enough reason for me. Honestly, I don't think it would make good blackmail material anyways, considering the particular moral standings (or lack their of) of Illy and Raril.

I haven't even gotten any of them involved enough in a single plot to warrant said clones yet.

Heck, Kris doesn't even belong to any of the groups yet! And Tobias is just following Val around at the moment. Heck, he could have an airship any day now!

I could do something with Katie maybe, but she doesn't know enough people yet to really have anything she could do.

That, and I want Project Mayhem to describe his "sorcery" a little more to me before deciding whether or not to give her the power.

Well, I'm semi-consistent at least. And I firmly believe that unless a character literally has a clone or is somehow experiencing multiple universe syndrome, then there should be a limit to one "you" or less.

So if I ever do "clone" any of my characters, you can bet it will be in reference to what they would or could have been doing in the past or future.
