PLOT SUMMARY:

In order for matter to have mass and speed, it has to be observed. This is why 9/10ths of the universe is unaccounted for: Because 9/10ths of the universe is accountants. (Or, as they're known in universe, Auditors)

Of course, some things can't be measured, like the value of a smile. Or belief. Auditors hate that. It mucks up their numbers. So they decide to strike a blow against belief. They hire this assassin to kill the Hogfather (effectively Santa.)

As a fellow anthropomorphic personification, the Grim Reaper takes offense at this. He likes people. (In his own words, his job isn't to kill people, but rather to make sure they die when they're killed. Generally this means showing up after a death, having a pleasant chat with the victim, and then carting them off to the Beyond.) Death and Albert (his housekeeper) set out to save Christmas with the help of Death's granddaughter, who has grown into a badass nanny.

So, TL;DR:

Grim Reaper and Gothic Nanny Poppins team up to save bacon-themed Christmas from space accountants and evil Radar O'Reilly.

Weirdly enough, I dragged all the settings down and the main menu worked fine, but then nothing affected the actual game and it still lagged to Hell.

Also Tycho's nose becomes unseeable too often. It's super creepy.

Otherwise, pretty fun. Be nice if they explained in any fashion how you earn the items, or what half the stats they keep mean. Knocked out Max first (who went and started chewing on a railing post), then the Heavy, then Tycho knocked Strong Bad out and took me down in an all or nothing hand.
Also, yes, super funny. Considering it was just Tycho and Strong Bad for a while I must have missed a lot of dialogue in my first game.

Despite the mind-bogglingly stupid cursor, I just managed to win my first game. Whoo! (Almost had Max's swag in the game before that)

I think I'm done until they fix the cursor, though. Those of you who have played other Telltale games: is that standard for their fare?

You need to be friends with a person on steam to send them a gift. This creates two issues;

1) If the person doesn't accept/Isn't online to accept, they can't get their gift

2) Lets say, randomly Chiasaur11 gets a friends invite from me. We haven't played on the same server together recently, and have never talked. What's is the first thing he might think?

I realize the summary makes it sound very, very strange, but honestly, the strangeness isn't that strange. It's still a compelling story with solid acting and characterization and stuff.

Presumably, if someone doesn't log onto Steam for weeks at a time, or can't recognize a CHHA when they see one, that person is probably not a part of this thread.

I don't think we have anyone who posts in this thread but doesn't know who anyone is and doesn't ever log onto Steam. As such, by definition, anyone in the Secret Saxon will not face those problems.

Well, that's their problem, then. You send the gift by the required date, there's not much else you can do.

And I don't believe you need to friend the person to send them a gift, anyway. Not even sure you have to log in. During the payment process, it asks you whether you're getting this for yourself or for someone else.

Of course, then you just have been very freaking sure you have the right person, if they're not on your friends list.

Edit: I just remembered, you can send gifts to people who don't even have steam accounts. You can just send it to their e-mail account, and they get this e-mail saying "You got a gift! Would you like to download and install Steam so you can, like, play it?"
