Hm.. actually, now that I have a bit more time, I've had an idea. Aside from reading and watching many different manga and anime, I'm also a big Star Wars nerd. Had interest in some Star Wars d20 games and have the books, played a few of the games, and I love looking up info about the Star Wars Universe on Wookiepedia.

So instead of looking around for a Saga game, I'll be doing what I've been doing with my group of freeform friends, start off a Star Wars Freeform. It will probably set around the time of the Mandalorian Wars of Jedi Civil War.

Any tips or things I should look out for while I get started on this SWitP project?

You have to have tiered goals. You can't just go from "nobody" to "rules the universe". There's a process, man!

Zerkai: I assume you're pretty familiar with Star Wars, so that's not an issue.

I'd suggest setting upper limits on what Jedi can do, maybe say what powers will always, no question carry a Dark Side taint, say how fast technology can be shoehorned, that sort of thing.

Basically, set some broad guidelines for the game, so you don't end up with people trying to Force Push planets into each other or something.

Also, let Kuroi and I (and any other interested parties) know if/when it starts up here on GitP. We might jump on board, you know.

I find that if you ask yourself "What would Starkiller do in this situation?", you'll typically find the upper limit to what should be allowed. For example:

In Force Unleashed 1, he Force Pushes a whole Imperial Star Destroyer. In 2, he pushes away FLEETS as he sets a crash course towards a planetary shield in the midst of a raging battle. Then he jumps through the cruiser's window, freefalls his way down, grabs a TIE Fighter and swings it around to safe ground.

technically speaking, force moving a planet would be easy as long as you were on an equal sized planet. There isn't anything holding it there in spaaaace!!!!

Will do, will have a Discussion/Setup thread up by tonight as well to work out just when this is taking place. Probably during the 3-year period of the Jedi Civil War since a few of you guys seem to have an interest in making Dark Jedi and the Old Republic Era is what I'm most familiar with.

Force Powers that offer Dark Side points will be based on the powers in the Star Wars Sagas books and the KOTOR games. So things like Force Lightning and Force Scream are definately dark side powers. I also don't want an overpowered campaign with everyone an all-powerful Sith Lord that can move planets. You will be brick'ed for trying this. Will post here when the thread is up, not sure if I'm allowed to link it though.

Um...actually, when Natsuko left her room, she told anybody in the room to guard the baby. And Alysha was in the room. And, honestly...she wouldn't have immediately thought of taking the baby away. At least, not till somebody suggests it to her. Or something starts attacking her.

I have no idea how long the current incident will be taking. If required, we can always move it to an episode. By all means, the intention isn't to halt all other characters.

BTW, I'd very much appreciate if Cecilia and Caiphus chimed in and dragged Rouga the hell away from there.

I'd like to get Caiphus and Cecilia there, I'm just waiting on Terry. Would you like me to go ahead and put them there now, or continue waiting for Terry? I was thinking that the Espada should be the one who arrives first, since Caiphus makes a point of walking behind Cecilia.

@Horngeek: Keep in mind that Bladestorm is the name of Arata's (2nd div 3rd seat) Shikai. I'm not sure how important overlap is, but those two names are very similar.

EDIT: I'm also waiting on Izumi and Rex in the Mortal World, so I can continue Cassandra's wacky hijinks.

It's not that odd in Japanese, where things can be repeated for emphasis. Heck, the character usually translated as "blaze" is "fire fire". IIRC there was something similar with the characters for "wood" and "forest".
