Actually, yes it does, since you make purchases using the store page. It just doesn't show on the main store page in Firefox since it's not technically a "secured" page. It'll appear on the login page or when you try to buy something.

Well, it's just a reason why people shouldn't use Safari (in addition to a zillion other reasons, the most important being that ⌘-# or Ctrl-# switches to the bookmarks on the bar, not the numerical tab.

Presumably, if you want money, you have to find your personal ATM machine, and just pray it isn't in the secret underwater base or something.

Well if you had your Credit Card details saved in your account, if nothing else they could buy stuff for other accounts I guess? I don't think it never directly shows all your credit card details if its saved on your account but they can still use it to buy things on steam.

Seriously, this is getting ridiculous. Rift is a big-budget MMO that has nothing in common with TF2 at all. Are devs/publishers bribing Valve to include TF2 tie-ins now? I'd already given up on ever having even close to all the items in the game again, but I feel like there's a line that's been crossed somehow at this point.

How long does it take customer support to get back to you?

I've forgotten my Steam password but the original associated email account is now closed. I've sent a request in for a password reset, along with a graphic of the retail key used to validate the account with my account name written on it.

I take it that with all the current hacking problems, it's taking them a while to process everything?

1. VERIFY YOUR STEAM ACCOUNT! This makes it harder for hackers to change yoor password. If your account is verified, when you change your password, Steam will send you an email with a verification link you have to follow in order for the password change to be complete. Also, don't use the same password for your Steam Account and email. (Step by step procedure on this incoming shortly)
   
2. HAVE A SECURE PASSWORD! Mix letters (both upper and lower case) and numbers and have it be AT LEAST 8 characters long. Try replacing numbers for letters. ilovethisdoctor is no where near as secure as 1l0ve7h15doc70r.
   
3. BE WARY OF ANY LINK YOUR FRIENDS SEND YOU! If the link has no context to the conversation, it's a phishing attempt. If the link has the .ru domain, it's a phishing attempt and do not follow the link! Steam DOES NOT mask links in chat. So if the link says www.youtube.com, it goes to Youtube. steamcommunity.com =/= steamcommunity.ru or any variation therof. steamcommunity.com and store.steampowered.com are the only safe sites to input your Steam account credentials. Also, if someone you don't talk to often sends you a link, THEY probably got hacked.
   
4. ALWAYS CHECK THE LINKS YOU ARE SENT! For reasoning, see above.

Magnus got hacked, I foolishly logged in, so they got my password and logged in. Thankfully, I had no details, e.g. credit cards, saved. Then, they logged me out and I changed my password.

Yeah. I think that might start being the case. Or the TF2 devs just promoting games they personally like as well.
