Thing is, the rune is kinda part of the golems basic infrastructure, and designed to move around so it can't be removed. To get rid of it would require removing the entire chasis at once, then replacing it. So it's probably still there.

Magtok implanted something in him to give him a way to control the clone if it ever got out of line. Then Reinholdt got hold of a pillow that changed his shape, and when it did so, the device popped right out of his body.

Apparently the bomb is related to LANTERN and that is the clue.

The problem is remembering past things in detail. That's also what is delaying my Digest stuff.
