Where does he come from?

Backstory wise, that's #13 Walkure; another genetic experiment made by the somewhat shady Mana-Corperation during the Animus-Theory projects. His purpose was to scavenge battlefields during and after skirmishes to collect bodies. Then, using classified* Corp technology would revive them; so that they might be sent out to the battlefield another day.

However, before Walkure could be sent out to the field. The main research facility was utterly destroyed by an unknown force. Leaving it trapped inside the ruins. Now #13 just wanders the halls of the ruined lab, collecting the dead staff to keep itself company in it's tomb.

As for the characters origin, it's a fairly minor antagonist in my comic (Which so far exists only in my head and on my pc). As he only appears a set few times.

*That way I don't have to explain it.

A group of my friends are running a pathfinder campaign. So I decided to draw my character up in Inkscape.

This is an elven illusionist named Ellendir with his thrush familiar, Theo.

I know it says fanart but I've only seen OotS style drawings instead of fanart done in other styles.

But the thread title is, indeed, "OotS Style Art/ Fanart Showcase", so I'll say, bring in the fanart.

Yes indeed. 'cos Lien is totally the most badass character in OotS*

And the only reason I found out there was a forum for OotS was because I googled 'Lien fanart'. Yes, I've read the entire comic and never realised there was a button that said 'FORUM' right under the comics section.

*Excluding Vaarsuvius and Xykon, of course.

The body is too long, and therefore the legs are too short.
The arm curves in a weird way, and it's also too long.
I suggest a (bit) darker shade for the interior of the cape, and you're aces.

Oh, and try to straighten the feet, they are supposedly on firm ground, so try to make them flat on the botton, completely horizontal. Unless you're trying to make it kinda 3D, with one in the front, in which case you have to change the shape of the boot to make it look like it's stepping forward.

I could try to make a comparison in Paint.

Those look nice Gul. Maybe consider using sliiiightly thicker lines here and there, but that's really just a taste thing.

Anyways, I decided I had to draw something today before I went to sleep, so I just redrew my favorite Abr characters. Captain Nitrine and her pet cliffracer along with Orange, the ogre.

Thanks. The antlers took a lot of fiddling. I had to abandon any hope of drawing them from the side. I'm glad they worked out though.

Perhaps so. I have the feeling you're referring to the second one more so. The reason the lines are thinner is because in inkscape all the heads are the same size. That's the base for the size of the rest of the avi. In this case the antlers make it so I have to shrink the avi down a bit when exporting, and thus the lines are thinner. I'll admit that it's mostly laziness that prevents me from correcting this. There's also when I make things like this though.
