Denim cabin is in a clearing in the middle of the woods about a mile or so away from the main GLoG campsite. Just making sure you are aware.

Crae says, and extends his hand. The sleeve of his jacket stretches out and forms into a hand big enough to shake Runner's.

Those at the GLoG campground at the moment might notice a peculiar anomaly high in the sky. A rough, bluish outline of a rather large circle is forming, the boundary constantly shifting, growing, shrinking, though maintaining the same overall size.

It also seems to be emitting a loud and rather obnoxious humming noise.

What the hell is this?

Hemlock Cabin

Cutter hears the noise and looks up. With a sigh, he gets a bad feeling and heads back in to prep his equipment.

Reinholdt covers his ears with an obvious wince. Loud noises sucked as a kitty.

Reinholdt probably won't like what comes next much more then.

The unstable border slowly stops shifting, the humming growing louder, becoming the loudest once the circle's border is fully stable.

Once that happens, the circle suddenly becomes 'filled in' with blue, a massive portal ripping open.

Initially, it seems like nothing's coming out. But streaks of flame trail behind an invisible object, soon becoming not-so-invisible as its cloak flickers and fades. A behemoth black aircraft comes screaming out, its formerly-quiet engines too damaged to keep their silence, flames and debris falling from it as if it had encountered an extremely heavy assault.

The 'Emperor's Folly' has returned to the Nexus to die, as it's aimed solidly downwards, at a patch of forest far enough away from the GLoG campground itself that it is in no direct danger.

It's not crashing...yet. But it soon will be.

Imperial Patrol

Sure, the roads were supposedly safe, but still, it probably helped to keep a bit of presence to keep travelers that were closer to Inside than GLoG safe.

Edijar, driving the unarmed jeep sees the airship and recognizes it for what it is before skidding to a stop and turning the jeep to where he thinks it'll crash and driving as if hell was on his wheels.

Prae undeadtimes, glancing up into the sky and grimacing a bit as the roaring wreck tears across the formerly pleasant day.

He glances around at anyone outside. "What is that vessel?"

It does not take long for the Spectre to reach its end. Propelled by its engines and the weight of gravity on its immense form, it hits the ground violently, falling apart even more and tearing a massive rut in the earth. Good thing it didn't hit a city like the last crashing Imperial craft of that size.

Anyone who has been watching closely enough may have been able to spot two humanoid figures falling out of one of the ex-aircraft's drop bays, propelled as if by an explosion within it...

Meanwhile, the portal above shuts as quickly as it had opened.

Marley, awaken by the sound of the crash, heads outside of the cabin.

"What's going on out here?"

Sunny hears the crash and heads that way, accompanied by two drones.

Brianna also heads towards the scene.

Prae simply gestures at the vessel as it finally comes to rest. It can presumably still be seen, even if far from GLoG. A pair of wings, huge, black-veined, and chalky white, suddenly sprout from his bare back.

"I'm going to have a look around." The big man says quietly, before taking off with a whoosh.

Jeep

Edijar skids to a halt as soon as he sees the figures and reangles himself, driving quickly through the trees to try and get where they are. He gets an odd feeling and pulls on his helmet, narrowly missing a crash before driving on.

Brianna, meanwhile, reaches the wreckage and tries to find an entry point to search for any survivors!

Marley sighs. Great, an airship crashed down. At least it didn't land on top of them. Well, might as well see what there is to see. Marley takes his cane and starts heading for the crash site.

"Hi Marley," Sunny says. "I guess you want to check out the crash too?"

She's outside! And no longer wearing power armor! And she has two GLoG drones whirring after her.

"Hello Sunny, and yes I am."

Marley smiles at the drones, its been a while since he seen those. He just hopes Butler doesn't get too upset about their return.

[Spectre Crash Site]

Those arriving here will find it to be just that-a twisted wreck and mockery of what the mammoth war machine once was. There don't appear to be any easy entrances into the wreck-it was already ruined before crashing.

Nearby, though, is only one survivor, male, facedown and apparently unconscious on the ground. He is wearing a heavy suit of power armor, oddly enough, likely saved by it. It is now black, scorched by the blast, and looks rather heavily damaged. They should probably get the guy out of it.

There's a notable lack of a helmet, though. Black hair is visible, and what can be seen of his skin is almost unusually unscarred. Who could that be? It certainly isn't the 'owner' of that vessel...

But whoever it is, no one's going to be able to tell with him facedown like that, I think.

The other figure seen is nowhere to be found.

Crash Site

Edijar arrives at the crash site and leaps from the still moving jeep to land near the survivor, reacting quickly. He takes it all in with just a glance, and rolls the man over gently to see who it is.

Crash Site

Prae touches down by the singular survivor, glancing at Edijar curiously. He looks around for someone more medically inclined. "Wounded here!" His voice carries like a foghorn, booming and long. Then, more quietly to the soldier, "Am I to assume you are some sort of rescue party?"

Brianna sees the man on the ground, and rushes over, arriving just after Edijar and Praetorious. "I need to check him for injuries, so please move back, both of ye."

And it's about this time that Sunny arrives, and the two drones with her buzz off to examine the wreck more closely.

"Edijar, what are you doing here?" she asks.
