Re: [3.5] Tomb of Horrors
It had been an interesting room. Very well designed.
"If only you were more fun Mr. Acererak I would say had the potential to be both dangerous and challenging. But you leechy lich stuck in your old ways. Well just know that if you dont kill me. I will" Said Welby to the world ingeneral.
To ensure he doesnt get any diseases or poisons from the water he draws another bottle of antitoxi, he drinks it and thows the glass behind.
Spoiler
I wait for the last person to step in the crawlway.
AvB has come and gone. Its spirit still lives on in the few active threads...

SpoilerPretty sure the haversacks allow you to replace objects and call them with out any heed to order. I put the haversacks inside each other. Not very heavy.

And the bodies won't fit.
Will Quin leave them behind?

Crawling reduces walking movement by half...
So the haste would still apply...
Maki's crawling rate would be 20, the Haste in his boots bringing it to a maxmimum to 40.
And how many rounds has the barbarian used it for today?
I'm pretty sure he used in the first and second fights with the gargoyle, and those lasted atleast eight rounds...

Re: [3.5] Tomb of Horrors
Seeing the cleric struggle with the haversack, Eduardo calls out to advise him, welcomed or not.
Quin, leave the bodies, leave the gear. If you die, nobody here can raise you.Click the spoiler to see all the great games I design:

Re: [3.5] Tomb of Horrors
Dranga slides in after Daina, followed by Shudu, Harley pauses by Quin and grabs a haversack shoving items inside of it.
Jake comes to help as well, standing over Snake and Bob's bodies with indecision...
Harley turns, looking at him, and turns to Quin, "The arch! Wherever it goes, has to be better than this!"

Re: [3.5] Tomb of Horrors
I only used them for 1 round in the first fight and 3 on the second one so i have at least 4 turns left counting this one. And the boots can be used for 10 rounds per day.Last edited by Misaat; 2011-02-28 at 08:57 PM.

Re: [3.5] Tomb of Horrors
Quin dosnt give a rats tail about bodies.
[stern God's gaze]
Harley looks at the water rising around their ankles...
...he looks at the arch...
Shaking water out of his eyes, he turns to look at Jake, then Quin, and Welby, floating by the entrance to the crawlway.
He looks at the bodies...
"We can't just leave them like THIS!"
Quin manages to get the last of the items into a haversack, and is surprised to see he's got any empty one...
There is NO way, however one haversack will fit into the other...
Further more, the water is up to his knees...
Inside the crawlway, there is just enough room for one to pause crawling and take a breath of air before continuing...
You guys can opt to crawl at now a QUARTER of your movement rate or start making Swim checks...
If you keep moving just say so!

Re: [3.5] Tomb of Horrors
Eduardo doesn't see anything behind him...
At the front of the "train" however, Maki finds the first snake...
It is VERY VERY visible, and is happily swimming toward him...

Re: [3.5] Tomb of Horrors
The water is choppy and turbulent, and movement is further impeded by the red hue. One cannot help but get in their mouth now... Movement is made easier by feeling one's way along the edges of the crawlway...
The DC is 16.

Re: [3.5] Tomb of Horrors
Its perfectly legal... Haversacks fit into another..
Also, there is almost nothing I can right now. No earth to bury them in...
Although he could stone shape it around them..... Okay, he uses stoneshape to envelope them with a nice marker blah blah. Then he splits.

But I'm still saying no to the haversacks...
Harley takes two Haversacks and tosses another to Jake... They follow Quin into the crawlway, leaving Welby standing at the entrance...
From his point, Welby can see something strange with how the Create Water's are now creating water of an even deeper blood color...
There is some beauty to be taken from the two stone markers shaped into tombstones, surrounded by the crimson waves...
All right didnt read that forget the last post i'll edit this one with my actions Also is the tunnel big enough to swing my falchion?
But he's got Initiative, he can let someone else pass him or do something else.Last edited by TheOasysMaster; 2011-02-28 at 09:19 PM.

Re: [3.5] Tomb of Horrors
If you are underwater, either because you failed a Swim check or because you are swimming underwater intentionally, you must hold your breath. You can hold your breath for a number of rounds equal to twice your Constitution score, but only if you do nothing other than take move actions or free actions. If you take a standard action or a full-round action (such as making an attack), the remainder of the duration for which you can hold your breath is reduced by 1 round. (Effectively, a character in combat can hold his or her breath only half as long as normal.) After that period of time, you must make a DC 10 Constitution check every round to continue holding your breath. Each round, the DC for that check increases by 1. If you fail the Constitution check, you begin to drown.

Re: [3.5] Tomb of Horrors
Yes, but that's going to be hard since you're in ITS territory, you can barely see, and it is pretty big and intimidating itself.

Re: [3.5] Tomb of Horrors
Large, leaning toward huge...
If it manages to eat Maki, I'll bump up its stats.
In case FireSickle or Samfool chime in...
Jake and Shudu are swimming through a crawlway...
They need to make a Swim check each round.
The DC is 17.

Re: [3.5] Tomb of Horrors

A few points: 1) I don't think I'll be catching up to you next turn, you're way ahead of me. 2) I do have wild empathy... but at a terrible modifier, and if this thing is a magical beast, even worse. 3) However, I can probably KO it if I can get close to it... That may not be for several rounds though. Good luck!Click the spoiler to see all the great games I design:

Re: [3.5] Tomb of Horrors
The mass of bubbles that emit from the barbarian's mouth isn't very intimidating...
The snake surges forward, coiling around the barbarian...
Maki gets an attack of opportunity...
