I'm going to ask for the next part move-by-move.

Luc moves to O16 and attacks the boss with his Iron Sword.

Then Layla moves to P16 and attacks with Blaze.

If the boss isn't dead by now, the dancer comes and dances for Luc, who attacks again.

I'm okay with this.

Change of plans. Layla can't take out the boss, and wouldn't be able to get healed. Dancer to N16 and dances for Luc. Luc attacks again. If the boss still lives after his attack, stop the turn.

Watching the battle between the pink haired girl and the druid conclude, Jodas gave a slow clap with her lance and her free hand. That stance, that speed reminded her of watching the swordmasters fight back in her homeland.

"Very impressive. You're no common thief, girl, most soldiers would turn tail and run at the sight of dark magic."

Elizabeth chuckled. "We're certainly not soldiers, though there are a number of mercenaries here if I'm not mistaken. Myself, I'm just along for the ride- they're good folks, and they needed a healer, so I figured it'd be a good opportunity for practice." Granted it wasn't her healing abilities she had planned to train, but it never hurt to improve at one's trade.

Like Jodas, Elizabeth watched the battle in relative silence. She was honestly impressed by how much Luc- and the entire group for that matter- had improved. A more sadistic part of her enjoyed the straight-forward brutality of the fight, but she quashed that feeling as soon as it came up. "She certainly is something, isn't she?"

We are here to escort me home, my father is one of the more powerful leaders of Imrit. The Queen of Quamdrom made an alliance with the monsters on the eastern side of the continent to attack Imrit. Our constant infighting leaves us in a weakened state. My father has a commanding presence and she kidnapped me to hold me hostage.

That pink haired woman was fast. He could barely follow her hands when she started to move, and that dagger was like a bolt of guided death. Despite the initial misgivings that he'd had about the group and their... stability issues, if they could all fight like that, he'd be hard pressed not to be the weak link.

It was all he could do not to grimace at that. Getting showed up by a bunch of nobles. Some mercenary he was. He'd wager that the captain was rolling in his grave laughing. No. Nevermind. That wasn't right. They hadn't buried the man. He didn't laugh. Black humor wasn't all that funny anyways.


There's no use harassing the client, Naktem. If he gets killed by some happenstance, we're not going to get a single gold piece out of this... Come to think of it, what kind of pay are we getting for this anyways?

He paused.


Oh, but I should introduce myself first. I'm Stein. No family name.

(I know none of you will have any idea of what I mean by this but if Luc ever becomes alive somehow I am locking him in my basement and glomping him. He's so cute!)

She takes a deep breath in and holds it for a moment. She opens her eyes as she lets the breath out, turning to face Luc, and simply responds, "I see, myself Luc. My whole being. Everything I've done with my life and what is yet to come. Thats what I see," She looks back at her reflection for a second then back to Luc. "What do you see when you see your relfection in the water Luc?"

Jodas studied the scars on the archer's face. From the way the archer carried herself, they must be battle-scars, a red badge of courage so to speak. "I don't think I've gotten your name, archer? I'm Jodas."

"Name's Delila," she offers Jodas a handshake, "Welcome aboard."

Jodas returned the handshake. "Thank you Delila. Now, I shall be off to pay the princeling a visit."

"Oi, you've got mail!" Jodas shouted as she moved towards the prince.

He brushed a strand of hair from her face. "You really are cute and innocent..." He leaned in and kissed her. It only lasted a moment, long enough for him to register what had just happened.

He backed away quickly, and stood up. "Layla... I... I... I'm sorry." He turned and ran. Ran as fast as he could, as far as he could. As far as he knew, Layla hadn't figured out what had happened and was still sitting there, stunned. He couldn't believe it, himself. Why had he done that? She didn't know...

Luc finally stopped, up against a small shack in the middle of the woods. He cursed himself, muttering, "Won't Elizabeth be proud?"

What just happened? Layla sat there speachless, unable to say anything. Unable to move. Her face was beat red. As red as her hair.

Okay, time to process what just happened. Luc has asked her to talk. Holding her hand, and led her to the pool of water surrounded by a few trees. She asked her what she saw when she saw her reflection, what she saw when she looked at Luc. Then she said something-which was a blur now with what happened-and kissed her. Then apologized and ran away out of sight.
"Luc, I... you..." She couldn't even talk right by herself.
Well, at least Tinsley wasn't around to see that...

((Sorry for not posting, completely missed the wall of RP ... Time to cheese it to the max and I've long forgotten much of Icarus's back story so I'll just make stuff up ))



"It is good to see that you are well your highness and in capable hands" says Icarus dismounting and kneeling "I Icarus...of a surname that does not matter... would be honoured to join your guard, sire!"

But before he can get a reply the red haired youth rises and vanishes into the crowd... the fewer people asked him of his past the better... and perhaps he was sad about it too... but he soon reverts back to being cheery... or pretending to be.

He then notices it was getting late..."Oh well... time to set up camp..." he said to himself... "Looks like its going to be a fine sunset"

He hadn't killed anything today he realized. His arms and armor didn't need to be cleaned or polished. He sets them on the ground, somewhat relieved to be rid of their weight and soon has his little tent up. Equally as fast his small pile of sweet smelling pine logs and branches are getting licked by the first small red flames. On top he puts an ornate kettle of water to boil and as the sun sets on the horizon turning the drying grass gold he pulls a wooden flute from his backpack- he has a small guitar too- and begins to play.
