So, played l4d2 pub games, randomly picking the map. On No Mercy, I got my new favorite charge kill at the top of the elevator. Someone (francis) had incapped at the edge and another player(bill) helped him up. Just as Francis gets up, I slam into him carrying him off. As it turns out, I also knocked Bill off with the same charge somehow.

That was fun. It was fun watching the Playgrounders slowly go insane, then watch Mike and Kevin and Bill go insane. Synced up nicely.

I dunno about you guys, but I had fun with the text adventure too. I'm totally gonna do it again next time (Twilight New Moon in two weeks?).

You dig in your pack and take out your CLOTHES, sheepishly putting them on and hoping the CAVE did not notice.

Your MAGIC MISSILE shoots into the darkness. A BAT emerges, peeved.

Your PARLEY has little effect on the BAT. It explains that it was trying to read the evening paper in peace, coffee cup in hand.

You grab the BAT and put it in your PACK. PEEVED BAT added to INVENTORY.

PEEVED BAT has become PISSED OFF BAT.

You look WEST and find sheer stone, obviously difficult to climb without some form of PHYSICS MANIPULATION.

You take the PISSED OFF BAT's COFFEE.

PISSED OFF BAT has become PISSED OFF DECAFFENAITED BAT

You IMPORT ANTIGRAVITY. Your exits now also include UP.

You READ the PISSED OFF DECAFFENAITED BAT'S PAPER. It includes tales of other CAVE DENIZENS, which include a BEAR, apparently, and this one other bat the PISSED OFF DECAFFENAITED BAT has a CRUSH on.

You check the CLASSIFIEDS. The BEAR has placed an ad, looking for a worker fresh out of college to become a MEAL.

APPLY for JOB Y/N?

You put on your best SUIT and proceed into the CAVE, straightening your tie. You find the bear and extend a hand towards it, which it promptly TAKES. You now have only ONE HAND.

You RETREIVE your HAND from the BEAR, rather put off. You once again have TWO HANDS.

You take out your CELL PHONE and angrily call your UNION REP, demanding restitution for your temporary loss of hand. This BEAR was clearly going OUTSIDE OF HIS JOB DESCRIPTION. Your union rep DISAGREES, saying that BEARS are known for their kleptomaniac actions towards others' HANDS.

You retrieve your PISSED OFF DECAFFENAITED BAT from your PACK and throw it at the BEAR. The PISSED OFF DECAFFENAITED BAT is now SEEING RED, but is also DROWSY and unable to do much. It is ineffective agains the BEAR.

You finally, after having held it in your hand for the last two minutes, DRINK the COFFEE. Your energy level goes up! You feel more invigorated, prepared for anything from a MAD DASH to a game of FISTICUFFS.

You TACKLE the BEAR as only men could do. You punch him in the jaw and try to keep his arms from hitting you in return. He starts crying, claiming you're actually kind of MEAN and don't PLAY FAIR.

Satisfied that the BEAR is sufficiently weakened (now being under the status effect CRYING, for one), you reach into your pack and throw a POKeBALL.

You chase after the bear, yelling obscenities to make sure it stays CRYING. The PISSED OFF DECAFFENAITED BAT, however, takes this opportunity to jump on your ankle and start biting you.

You IGNORE the PISSED OFF DECAFFENAITED BAT. Your BLOOD LEVEL is DROPPING, but you continue on. You find the CRYING BEAR in a deeper corner of the CAVE, curled up in a ball.

You LEER at the BEAR. The BEAR becomes UNCOMFORTABLE.

You reach into your PACK for a POKeBALL, but you are all out! USE MASTER BALL?

You use the MASTER BALL on the bear.

You POKE the BLOATED BAT with your FINGER. It BITES it.

You KICK the BLOATED BAT with your FINGER. It BITES it again and doesn't really move.

You HIT the BLOATED BAT with your HAND. It BITES it in a shocking turn of events.

You reach into your PACK and pull your LASERS out. You being the firing sequence.

CHARGING... 5%.

You WAIT a FEW MINUTES.

You use your previously-acquired ANTIGRAVITY and go UP. You are now FLOATING.

You CONTINUE UP. You find a CLOUD, which is looking at you funny.

You APPLY a TOURNIQUET to your ANKLE, which is already rather USELESS. You may never WALK on it AGAIN.

You reach into your rather extensive PACK and pull out your HANDHELD SUPERCOMPUTER.

The GAME MASTER does not GET the REFERENCE.

You CONTINUE UP, past the SUSPICIOUS CLOUD. Your OXYGEN LEVELS are RUNNING LOW.

BRDMIC.EXE will run in TWO MINUTES.

You CREATE OXYGEN using TEMPORARY OMNIPOTENCE. Your OXYGEN LEVELS are ONCE AGAIN HIGH.

It was a good effort.

Nearly snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. 4 dead and 2 out cold on the last alien, mainly due to using HE in close quarters.

The first move of the match was Chiasaur shooting a nearby wall and blowing himself and his teammate, Scuzz, up. The last move of the match was a six-health Chiasaur shimmying Blackfox off her ledge into the water with a Petrol Bomb. So, I guess he made up for it.

That round IS recorded, albeit with bad quality and in different parts and I've never successfully compressed anything in my life.
