When it first came out, I believe. Though I wasn't able to play it for the longest time online, because...

If I manage to find my game box, I'd probably be fine in regards to getting it working. My major CD key issues happened with BF2 (which I now have on Steam) because my Dad played it, and I played it (sometimes on his computer) and then later my Dad moved out and my new stepdad moved in and he played it... and everyone had a different CD.

Years later, trying to figure out which CD and which key were right for my account was rather impossible. I don't know if they were in my house at that point.

I lost a game as Eldar and absolutely nothing I did gave me a chance. So then I was talking about it in chat and my friend was like "No, Eldar are great!" and then we played a game and I murdered all his elves forever. Nothing he did stopped me.

His warp spider would teleport next to my marines, and we'd all just shoot it to death in two seconds. His crazy sword-women would just take a shotgun from the scouts and get all suppressed, and then die in seconds. His guardians had nowhere near the DPS or HP of tac squads.

It was absolute murder.

I still havn't found a hard counter to terminators, either. They seem to have the HP of a baneblade and armor that doesn't have any weaknesses.

Because the in game bonus maps are available from the pause menu once you beat the game.

Not just terminators, but EVERY PART of my space marine army was capable of trouncing yours. It took a lot of dancing and superior micro for you to hold your own as long as you did.

You've got more than 20 games experience over me. That's the only reason you were able to hold your own.

I disagree with these two. My weapon order on Assault is SCAR 11 > Baur > Krylov > Voss, for good reason. Look at my SCAR 11 K/D.

This... [holds up a Voss] is a weapon of terror. It is designed to intimidate the enemy.

As long as you switch the rifles to semi-auto and tap like clockwork, you can outdo many automatic users. Too much spray-n-pray, not enough riflemen around in the games I've played.

Personally, the Voss is more of a tapping/support weapon. Stick it on semi-auto and tap on enemies. You'd be surprised at how accurate and damaging it can be. The +10 ammo makes up for bad damage, and a good marksman can match with a SCAR user at medium to long range.

The SCAR is a workhorse. It kills things dead. It is rightfully the standard weapon of the EU, because it can do practically anything (short of harming an armoured vehicle. )

Krylov is supposed to be an analogue of the SCAR for PAC, but it feels slightly lighter, but it seems to fire faster on auto, (correct me if I'm wrong.)

The Baur... well, the Baur is a ******* around weapon. I use it to show off and hold Titan corridors on my lonesome. Semi-auto, aim for the head, you got yourself a mini-sniper rifle. It also looks damn cool, IMO.

Knife-fights are a sacred pasttime between two gentlemen of opposite sides. I would define a knife fight as being when two individuals, away from members of their side, draw knives and duel to the death for glory and their opposite's dogtag.

It is your obligation to respond to a drawn knife with your own and engage.

Many a times I have seen entire firefights disrupted by two noble souls duking it out with their bladed implements. It is tense, exciting and wonderful to see such honorable combat in the field.

It is understandable that in the heat of battle, prospective duelists may accidentally draw their sidearms or fire their main weapons. But on most civilised servers, most people follow the honor code of knife-fighting.

I always seemed to do best with the Voss, myself. I <3 the accuracy and low recoil.

Huh, that's a neat feature in seeing who has my dogtags. Though I'm guessing it only picks from archived players (those recently searched for), since I'm fairly certain more than 7 people have knifed me. (Edit: Yeah, I've gotten knifed 45 times. But I've knifed 189 people. 4.5 ratio, baby. That's... actually my best weapon K/D ratio. Huh.)

Hey, remind me to tell you guys the story of when I went for my 17-knife-kills-in-one round badge, where I waited at the bottom at one of the air shafts on my titan and knifed everyone who came in, the 17th kill being an epic knife duel as the Titan was blowing up around us.
