But see you are forgetting Vitriol's original purpose before it was tainted by the hatred and spite of the Yozis. It is for this purpose that it is used when applied to an Artifact. To catalyze evolutionary transformation in matter and Essence.

The Keys were specifically designed to be proof against the Yozis. Thrice-Radiant Misho, as a first generation primordial war Twilight, was practiced at protecting things from primordial influence, and was able to apply such techniques to the Keys, among other protections. They can't be vitriolified - not by "modern" vitriol, at least. They are also enchanted with custom-made spells that invoke the yozi surrender oaths. No creature bound to a yozi (such as a demon or akuma) can willingly touch them... though free-willed yozi servants still can.

Of course, all this only applies to the original Keys. The soulsteel Key might be different.

If we are going to turn Jukashi into a cyborg, we should just give him a brain-to-computer uplink so he doesn't have to use his arms at all. I'm not sure if that would result in an increase in art quality(because it would be exactly what he had in his head), or a decrease(because the rest of us don't think the same way he does, so his perfectly logical panel layout that resembles a bullseye would just confuse us).

As of February 21st, that's no longer the case: 3 comics per week, and JayDee hasn't missed an update. But historically speaking? Oh my, yes, Keychain is doing so much better than Captain SNES was for so many years.

Sorry to hear about the tendon, Jukashi. You're probably right to lay off any/much drawing for a while. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery!
