    It is indeed Fallout 1. I haven't played enough of 2 to try to rip a plot hook off of it. I'm glad mine were so easy.

    No, 593 and 594 were campaigns, of my own design, that I actually ran... The first hit kinda set the tone for the campaign in 593 so yea, the everyone dies was somewhat correct...

    602. After your players finally convince you to run a world written by them, give them a few game sessions where they can sit down and flesh out the details and breathe life into their creation.
    At the start of the first official game session, the planet is destroyed to make way for an interstellar bypass.

    You are travelling on a dark desert highway and a cool wind runs through your hair. Up in the distance you see a shimmering light. Your head grows heavy, so you want to stop for the night. A figure with high charisma leads you to your room, so you follow her, only lit by a candle. Your low religion check reveals that this could be the way to Heaven or Hell.
    My personal folder is a graveyard of ideas, stuck in their dream phase.
    The "DM won't kill us" attitude is a bubble that sometimes needs to be bursted.
    There's an armor variant rule in UA that will drastically increase character survivability without completely bubble-wrapping them in plot invulnerability

    611. You, a girl, want to be a warrior, but girls aren't allowed to be knights. Your twin brother wants to be a mage. Also, you're going to have to kill a wizard-duke. Twice.

    612. You join a group of rebels and attack the evil empire, until the rebel leader betrays your love interest and leaves her to die at the hands of an evil alien swarm. Stop your now half-human half-alien ex-love interest from taking over the universe, while getting revenge on the rebel leader.

    613. A fairy from the magical land the Goddess resides in has possessed you and has convinced you and your two companions to save the world. She tells you to gather the eight elemental spirits and try to use their power to enter the Goddess's plane so you can recover an artifact sword of infinite power, but the BBEG manages to get there first, take it off you and corrupt the sword.

    614. Your city is destroyed by a giant flying whale-monster which then sucks you and your mysterious friend 1000 years into the future. You then discover that the 'future' is actually the present, the world leaders and one of your party members were dead all along, that you and your city were just a dream, that the flying whale-monster was your father and that another party member attacks monsters by throwing a ball at them.
