Re: Favorite Playgrounder
I always find these threads reminiscent to picking teams in sports at school when you were the captain. No matter who you pick someone is going to be annoyed
Thanks to Dizzy and Gwyn, and even though I have done lists in these threads in the past I feel I may cop out of this one (you know, go and have some doughnuts and fine some speeding people) and not do one.
Basically those who I've had interactions with in the past I still think of rather fondly, and there are some new people who seem to have promise (those that don't chase me with cricket bats if I try and slip in some puns).
So basically going the easy route and if you recall my list from the last thread you are still on it, and probably should check for an addiction to the forums

Re: Favorite Playgrounder
Anyone who's ever been to a UKitP meetup, especially:
- Glug for organising my first one & being an awesome DM that day
- KuReshtin for his tireless efforts in bringing the members of our little island closer together
- Captain Spanner for giving me a couch to sleep on last time.
Then there are the already oft-mentioned Homebrewers past & present, especially:
- DragoonWraith for fighting the Mystic Theurge's corner against the haters.
- Zeta Kai for the enormity of their projects.
- Arguskos, because I've never disliked anything he's made
Finally there are the PbP-ers, who tirelessly allow me to digitally escape the mundanity that is real life, key praise going to:
- Niezck, for generally being a badass player.
- Eldan, for similar reasons.
- Kallisti, again for just being awesome.Last edited by Kobold-Bard; 2011-03-28 at 01:44 PM.

Re: Favorite Playgrounder
I took that whole 18-month sabbatical thing, so I unfortunately don't recognize a lot of you guys. (Or you me either, I'm sure!)
However, there are a few (older) Playgrounders that I've always liked or admired. Fax_Celestis and The Vorpal Tribble are (were?) some of my heroes in the Gaming and Homebrew forums, especially because VT did such a wonderful job running the Monster contest down there.
While I'm talking Homebrew stuff, I can't forget TheLogman, Icewalker, and Szilard (and others!) for their work with me on the massive Swampgas homebrew project a few years back.
In Gaming, there are too many of you, but I appreciate Kurald Gelain for being direct and honest. Shadow Elf and Mando Knight were also familiar faces in a lot of 4E threads back in '08, and I remember liking them.
Otherwise, I can't forget all the nice folks I met at the JC Meet-Up a couple of years back. Mangosta, Phillistine, Thes, Llama, Hippie, and everyone else. Good people all.
But yeah... after being away for so long, I'm glad to be in the company of ANY Playgrounders. The Playgrounder Formerly Known as rtg0922

Re: Favorite Playgrounder
Hurrah, noticings! Thanks all
(incidentally, that picture of me that was linked to to illustrate my alleged "hotness" () is from when I was jailbait, jus' sayin' )
I'm gonna ponder about who gives me a little tingle of happiness when I see that they've posted...
VT was, but oh wells.

I need to talk to more girls... OR MAYBE THE GIRLS NEED TO BE COOLER O.O
Nah, probably not.
edit: But blackfox is someone I think I'd get along with well if we ever had a proper conversation...
Also, Domochevsky is probably my favourite up-and-coming avatarist, and Djin-in-Tonic is one of my favourite old-timer avatarists who should do more work.Last edited by Serpentine; 2011-03-28 at 11:02 PM.
