The Pit Fiend is pretty badly wounded by now, thanks to the constant storm of bullets, and near death. Then the Shotgun Golem punches the aura of hellfire, currently being fed raw power by the Abyss itself, and the Abyss fights back. The Pit Fiend rushes the wall, even as the hellfire surrounding it begins to burn even brighter, and then, without warning, explodes.

For a single second, a tower of hellfire erupts into existence where the Pit Fiend once stood, hotter then the sun, although all that heat is concentrated into a tiny area, no more ten feet across. Then it's gone, destroyed by the Warlock Wheel as the Sunnybot reaches the portal, and it vanishes, a last tendril of hellfire, hot enough to burn lava, lashing out at the annoying robot.

[Streets]

The Abomination is torn apart, while the ones in the nearby houses fire at the robots, the Drones hurling a barrage of impact grenades at the squad of armored soldiers, using their perfect co-ordination to ensure that the grenades land and explode on all sides of the armored soldiers.

Walls

The portal bearing Sunnybot is destroyed at last, though hot enough to set lava on fire is kind of redundant.

The nine Sunnybots on the walls use their supercooling to make a supercooledshield when the Pit Fiend asplodes, sacrificing themselves to save the living troops.

Streets

((Confused by 'the ones in the nearby houses'. Is that referring to Drones? Abominations? Something else? Will respond after clarification.))

Compound

The ten remaining Sunnybots remain in reserve, ready to be put to work.

Comm Center

Sunny gives a grateful look to Vasquez, and starts to gather up her tools and place them in order.

Walls

The pillar of Hellfire is unable to burn the men on the walls, thankful for Sunny's bots, and many plan on sending her plenty of gifts if they can find out her birthday. Or they'll just wait for Thanksmas.

Streets

Edijar is unaffected by the grenade blasts at all, and charges by himself, his veterans forming ranks and encircling the garbage truck crew, warding them from the grenades. Their tall riot shields come with a foot brace, so they're able to take direct hits fairly well.

Edijar fires a couple shots at the drones from behind the cover of his shield, extremely quick and accurate on the run, and then holsters it before letting his superheated 3.5ft long wrist blade slides out, white hot. When he closes, he'll stab his blade into one of the Drones.

(And I'm confused about that part as well, but I'm assuming it's the Viper Squad(the walkers) since they aren't mentioned elsewhere.)

Viper squad seems unbothered by the small arms fire, and four return fire, while one with a beamcannon opens fire on the Drones Edijar is mixed in with.

Comm Center

A woman picks up the phone. "This better be an emergency."

Vasquez sighs as she watches Sunny for a moment before giving a few of her troops outside the walls new commands, to encircle and kill the rest of the Drones and Abominations.

Motor Pool

Even though Stheno and her sisters have been made into normal attack bikes by the Wheel, they're still extremely well armed. armored, and naturally made for their purpose now. Geoff and a small team of riders open the garage door...

Meanwhile, another phone is ringing in the comm center!

(All the Abominations and Drones are inside the buildings, and the Abominations were firing at the robots.)

Streets

In that case, Edijar leaps through one of the windows to try and break a Drone with his rather heavy suit of armor, while the Walkers still open fire as in the previous post.

The rest of the Philbots probably died to grenades. Carry on without me.

Zel is glad somebody was able to help get Eileen in. Her headaches were really starting to bother her now. She started getting a pain in her chest, too.

She was attacked by some cat-like monster...I found her like this...

That's as far as Zel gets before she falls forward, clutching her chest. Right where an obsidian stone is.

Inside

Near the walls, Bugs, an older man who is M.C.'s field medic, comes closer to Eileen and examines her before several needles slide out of his right glove, as well as tiny tweezer like manipulators. He'll inject her with stabilizers, anti-biotics, and steroids while sewing her up.

And Eileen is fixed up!
Still unconsious, though.

...somebody had better check on Zel.

Poor, poor Drone. It never knew what hit him. It does however explode as Edijar kills it, which at the very least will leave him cleaning bloodstains off his armor for weeks.

The other's Drones and Abominations quickly take cover to avoid being mowed down, although three Drones are too slow and die horrible deaths. They begin to pull back, ducking from building to building while avoiding ever giving any enemy troops a clear shot at them.

Edijar and the Walkers will harass the survivors, but will eventually break off to return back to the HQ, taking the wounded Imperials with them. Any wounded AMENite gets shot.

Inside

Recovery has already started, and the official losses are being counted. They didn't lose as many as they could have, but they lost more than they likely could have afforded.

Comm Center

Planning for the recovery begins, but is interrupted by yet another damnable phone call. With a growl, it's picked up by a very annoyed man. "What, dammit?!? Speak already!"

"This is Ledaal Idari, Chief Diplomat. Put quite basically, what the hell is going on, and where's someone in charge?"

Comm Center

Vasquez stops the man as he begins to reply about the call and where the diplomat can shove it. "This is Commander Vasquez, leader of the...Remnants. I am in control. What is it that you need? Make it quick." She asks cooly even as she watches the Wheel's movements begin to slow, finally beginning to use up it's limit.

Streets

Out of the rubble of the collapsed street, a hand shifts some rubble from below, and a cough rings out as a handful of surviving Tunnel Rats dig themselves out of a nearby storm drain. It had been a tight squeeze, but they made it.

The dozen surviving TRs make their way back to the HQ, one picking up Carl's stray helmet to give to Sunny. She deserved that much.

Inside

Bugs moves to Zel next, giving her the same treatment, before walking the walls and field hospital, treating all the wounds he can.

Geoff and a few of the other mechanics, armorers, and technicians begin pulling together new plans for the base and equipment, ready to start anew.

A woman picks up the phone. "This better be an emergency."

The music stopped and there is a snore to hear for a secound.

"Eh.. Would you say I know of an action AMEN is going to do to end this fight with them winning?"

Not sure how well-known her Exalted status would be...

Vasquez would know she's an Exalt. However, even though she personally hates Exalts, she doesn't let it get in the way of what needs to be done. "Figure out how the Orgs and other movers and shakers are handling this, then come here to report." She orders.

The woman at the end of Zefir's line shakes her head. "We've already fought them off."

[Zefir]

[Cell Phone]

"That doesn't really keep them away long enougth. AMEN isn't known for predictable actions, well most of the time. I know someting that may be intressting for you, but I can't tell it on the phone. They may be not the brightest light in the nexus but they got the stuff to tap the phone."

He tries to sound reliable, but cause of the place he do the phone call let him sound a bit odd.

"All right. Do you want this to be official, or incognito? I can handle either."

Phone 1

"You can decide yourself. Consider this as a proving ground to earn my complete trust." She tells the diplomat.

Phone 2

"But they are no longer a threat at this moment, and this line is completely secure."

[horngeek]

"All right. I'll get back to you as soon as possible."

Once the call has ended, she'll think for a bit, then head towards HALO.

Phone 1

"You can decide yourself. Consider this as a proving ground to earn my complete trust." She tells the diplomat.

Phone 2

"But they are no longer a threat at this moment, and this line is completely secure."

Phone 2

"Well I can't say it isn't. But I use a public cell phone, so it's not the best way. Either way they planned to stealth in and destroy the thing which cancel there Magic. And it doesn't need a genius to Imagine what comes after they succed."

Phone 1

"Report to me directly when you get back." Vasquez says before shutting off the phone and getting back to work.

The Wheel falls to the ground, shattering, and it's effect begins to end, but it's going to be an hour before it's all gone..

Phone 2

"We know they were going to try. It's why we stopped them." The woman tells Zefire over the phone.

"I think they haven't done there sneaking in. It will be done in some time, thats most of what I know. I also got one of there transmiter they use to communicate."

One of Sunny's robots arrives at the Comm Center to act as a mobile tool case. Once she has all her tools packed into the robot, she goes out to look for work she can do.

Sunny's Aurora ring briefly flickers from its usual color to Grace's signature pink before shifting back. At the same time, Sunny will feel mental contact from Grace.
Sunny? This is Grace. I'm trying to get some things put together to take care of the aftermath of the fight in Inside. I'd like your help.

Repairing Guns

Grace won't be able to contact Sunny until the effects end in a couple of hours. Assuming she does so then, Sunny answers, "I'm working at Coil." If emotions are transmitted as well, Grace may feel that Sunny is in emotional shock.

If Grace doesn't attempt contact after the time skip, then nothing happens.

"If you are an AMENite and offering us the transmitter, approach the gate under a white flag and one of us will come to meet you."

Inside

Sunny may see one of the Tunnel Rats, nursing a broken arm, look around before spotting Sunny. She gives Bugs a glare when he tries to stop her to look at her arm, and walks past him. Carl's cracked helmet is in her hands. When close enough, she looks down, sad, and offers it to Sunny silently.

Emotion does tend to leak through, as the system is less language based and somewhat more empathic/telepathic.

Grace instantly picks up on it, and drops her own requests and subject immediately.
Sunny? Are you alright?

No. Sunny answers. She looks up and sees the Tunnel Rat with Carl's helmet. She reaches out and takes it, trying to wipe off some blood that has dried on it.
