Sophie's eyes open wide. That's terrible! Was that... lich... defeated?

"I... don't have a clue. I wasn't around when it happened if it did. I know Quinn fought him... and lost." Irene adds at the end.

The hunter raised her eyebrow. Well, she's still alive... but being dead doesn't appear to be permanent here. Anyway, I suppose others might know more.

Wait, isn't Claire allergic to cats? Because Trilby lives in this cabin. And is here now, hopping on top of Emily's head happily! Before Saera tugs on Rae's sleeve! "Bro, is that your cat?" The little blonde angel girl asks. Rae nods, and squees emit from the little girl! That's really it, because she can't really reach Trilby, being all short and all.

[Lakeside]

"Probably. Sorry I'm not more help. I just haven't a clue what's happened lately."

Irene pauses for a bit, in thought. "So what are you doing out here by yourself?"

[Morty]

[Lakeside]

I was thinking. I'm having trouble with curing a vampire who lives here and I also recieved troubling news.

[Reinholdt]

[Lakeside]

"Oh? I knew a vampire in the old GLoG." Said vampire threatened her life for trying to stop Magtok from hacking the systems. She frowns. Irene didn't like him all that much.

"So what's the issue now?"

[The Bushranger]

From a distance, Jamie watches Irene and Sophie curiously.


Quinn, meanwhile, is up and about and inventorying resurrection-spell materials.

And...proton pack charge levels?

[Lakeside]

She was turned against her will and thinks herself a monster because she has to drink blood. I think that if I were to find her a substitute for blood, it'd help a lot. But so far, my search has been fruitless. Quinn told me about a vampire who manages to get by without blood, but I haven't seeh her here yet.

[Reinholdt]

[Lakeside]

"What you mean like the blood packs we had back at the old base? Or Ichor Liquor? I mean, blood is icky and stuff, but so long as she isn't hurting anyone, does it make that big of a difference if she drinks it?"

[Morty]

[Lakeside]

Well... blood packs are somewhat impractical. But the psychological issues are more important here. I think Olivia is going to feel bad even if she survives on blood packs.

[Reinholdt]

[Lakeside]

"Hmm..." Even Ichor Liquor is just a bunch of blood.

"I think... Quinn told me a story about how her boyfriend was a vampire once. I dunno."
Irene tries to consider options.

"Maybe there's a plant in the Weald that has all the properties and nutrients of blood without actually being blood?"
I wouldn't be surprised.

[The Bushranger]

Yup. Tobias got turned in the Hospital waaaaaay back. Think it was in the hospital anyway.
Quinn staked him.

Jamie keeps watching. And possibly eavesdropping.

Weald? Is it some sort of wilderness area?

[Reinholdt]

[Lakeside]

"Yeah. The Weald is a forest filled with all manner of exotic and rare plants and creatures. And is incredibly dangerous. But the rewards it holds keep people going in. I lived on the outskirts for a little while." After that vampire threatened her life.

[Morty]

[Lakeside]

I see. It could be worth a shot if no other options remain. Still, I think I'm going to look for that other vampire first.

[Reinholdt]

[Lakeside]

Irene shrugs and nods.
"Whatever helps."

[Morty]

[Lakeside]

Sophie leans back, thinking and saying nothing for now. She's wondering how to ask the spirit about her previous life and death without sounding rude.

Outside

Jamie, becoming bored, decides to start a round of her practice exercises.

[Reinholdt]

[Lakeside]

"Well... I suppose I'd better go get acquainted with the place. See you around Sophie." If she has any more questions, she'd better ask them now. Otherwise, Irene recognizes the end of a conversation.

[Morty]

[Lakeside]

Sophie decides the questions can wait. See you around. It was nice to meet you. After Irene is gone, Sophie goes to look for Quinn or other council members. Some news from Inside deserve mentioning.

[Outside]

Irene wanders off and around.

[The Bushranger]

Quinn is in the main cabin! Still doing inventory, but looking to be getting close to being done.



Jamie, meanwhile, is practicing archery in front of the Main Cabin.

Sophie wanders in tentatively. Mrs. Druid? I think there's something the council should know... but only the council.

[Outside]

Brinika is sitting on a tree stump and watches Jamie's arrows fly past.

Main Cabin

Quinn looks up as Sophe enters, and smiles.
"Just call me Quinn, please. And what is it?" she asks, setting a rather large diamond carefully in a platinum fixture.



Outside

Jamie notices Brinika, and grins.
"Hey, wanna come and give it a try?"

[Morty]

[Main Cabin]

Sophie nods.
It's a long story. Did anyone tell you about the source of the abilities that I have?

[Outside]

Dunno. It looks a bit dangerous. Not to mention that whatever bow Jamie is using is too big for Brinika.

Andy steps in comming fomr a Cabin.

"Does someone know how the status is in inside?"

Since people are in the MAin cabin now.^^

Quinns shakes her head at Sophie.
"No, I don't believe they did..." she says, before looking up to Andy with a nod. "And I don't. What's going on?"

[Morty]

Sophie turns to Andy.
From what I've been told, it's still in chaos. I think Miss Trollfinger sent someone to help. And what I'm about to tell you is connected to Inside as well. She takes a deep breath. Long story short, I have powers because I was called upon to fight monsters on my homeworld. And by the rumors from Inside, such people started appearing there as well.

"Still Chaos? Thats sad I have no idea where to start..." Then he looks to Sophi returning from his thoughts.
"Oh hello did we met befor?"

Seems like he got a hard time the last hours.
