[The Bushranger]

Quinn frowns a bit.
"Oh I didn't know. I've bene...occupied," she admits. "And...really?" she arches an eyebrow at Sophie. "Also from your world, then?"


Outside

"It's not dangerous at all! Not if I use suction-cup arrows," Jamie observes, giggling.
The bow size would be a problem, though.

[Morty]

[Main Cabin]

I don't think did. I'm Sophie Mouchabiere. You must be Andy Emeral, one of the Council members. She nods curtly before turning back to Quinn. And I do not know where those people come from, but even if some do come from my world, they heard the Call here in the Nexus. Which means the Heralds - that's how we call whoever it is that gave us our powers and mission - reached the Nexus somehow. The rumors I've heard... it fits the pattern.

[Outside]

Oooh. That makes sense. But... your bow is as tall as I am.

[The Bushranger]

Main Cabin

"I see."
Quinn frowns, rubbing her chin thoughtfully.
"Well...what are the possible consequences of this beyond there simply being more people like you?"


Outside

"Oh. That would be a problem."
Jamie frowns.
"We need to make you one of your own, then!"

[Zefir]

[Main Cabin]

Andy is abit shocked and freez for some moments. Then his face turns distrustful.

"Yeap. I'm Andreas Emeral Council member. I'm suprised that there is anyone I never met who knew my name. It's a ounor and a curse as well.
But back to the topic you talked about a problem of your past. These people you mentioned who got the same power as you are they a danger for innocents or us?"

[Morty]

[Main Cabin]

I'm not sure yet. Things are different here. Supernatural beings walk in the open and not as many of them are out to kill or harm the mundane people. But there's plenty of monsters and the hunters will be after them. Sadly, I expect some of them to turn against innocent supernaturals as well. She scowls and the scowl deepens when Andy speaks. She appears offended. They're a danger to monsters first and foremost.

[Outside]

Brinika seems to be considering it. Do we have any crossbows? Like, with suction cup arrows too.

[The Bushranger]

Main Cabin

"...oh."
Quinn promptly thinks of a few of her friends, and a few of Jamie's friends...
"...so. I suppose we should consider perhaps reaching out to them and providing a Good Monsters 101 course?"

Outside

"...I think we do. Let me look."
And Jamie hurries off to the main cabin.
Returning after a few minutes with a grin, the desired weapon, and ammunition!

[Zefir]

Main Cabin

"That is in a few ways bad but more good I think."

Then he heads to quinn.

"We should have an eye on Mr Button your sabertooth. I don't say he is a monster but I'm sure they will go against him if they have the chance. on the other hand how is the status about the nfirmary?"

[Morty]

Main Cabin

Sophie rolls her eyes.
They won't attack the sabretooth cat. They'll attack supernaturals. She then turns back to Quinn. It's possible I suppose. We need to keep two things in mind, though. First, the Imbued are by default strong-willed people. Second, they need to maintain secrecy.

Outside

I sure hope it's just a toy crossbow.
Brinika squeals happily and runs to retrieve the crossbow.

[The Bushranger]

Main Cabin

"Secrecy as the result of a supernatural vow that, if broken, they lose their powers?" Quinn guesses.


Outside

Yup. Jamie may be impetuous, but she's not stupid.
She grins and hands it over, then takes time to explain how it works - and how to be safe with it - to Brinika!

[Morty]

[Main Cabin]

Errr... no. What I mean is that the hunters will operate most effectively if the supernaturals don't know that they're there. Even if the monsters know that some hunters are among the population, we're indistinguishible from normal mortals unless we start using powers.

[Outside]

Brinika knows how a crossbow works. It's not exactly rocket science and she's smart. On her homeworld, goblins and dwarves keep arguing who invented the crossbow.
She starts shooting at the board, which goes about as well as might be expected.

[The Bushranger]

Main Cabin

"...ah. I see. That makes sense. How would you suggest setting up a training program, then?" Quinn asks.


Outside

Jamie watches, grins, and carefully makes suggestions on how to improve her aim.

[Morty]

[Main Cabin]

I think I'll head into the city and contact them discreetly. We have means of covert communication built in, as it were. Hopefull some will be willing to listen.

[Outside]

And Brinika keeps shooting. Caretaker hovers above quietly.

[The Bushranger]

Main Cabin

"Good idea. You have the full authority of the Good League of Good in this," Quinn promises. "Is there anything you'll need?"

And Jamie keeps encouraging until all of the arrows are gone!
She brought a full quiver.

[Blue Ghost]

Denim Cabin

Blue smiles and shakes Claire's hand. I'm Blue, a friend of Rae and Emily. And you are?

[Morty]

[Main Cabin]

Sophie shakes her head. I'll handle it myself. Thank you for listening to me. She heads out.

[Outside]

And Brinika merrily shoots her way into deadtime.

[Rae Artemi]

[Denim Cabin]

"She's deadtimed, is what she is. But her name is Claire, her and her daughter are friends of mine." Rae says toward Blue.

"Daughter?" Says Saera, looking up at her brother.

"Yes, daughter. She's a bit older than you, but I think you'll like her. Oh, and Claire, whenever you hear this, this is my younger sister, Saera." Rae says, to his deadtimed friend. "But for now, let me show you around my... Cab... What happened to the cabin?" And indeed, the cabin is much different than the last time Rae and Emily were here. There are now fourteen rooms, on two floors, around a center hallspace. The mural on the ceiling, of Rae, Emily, Trilby and Kris in front of the cabin is still there, but otherwise, almost completely different. "Well, I was going to offer you a tour, Blue, but, well, I don't think I'm qualified to do that right now..."

Main Cabin

Quinn smiles, and returns to her 'get ready to get Irene back in a body, and immediately destroy it if it turns out to be Cal' preparations.


Outside

Jamie sighs at the deadtime, then decides to take a run through the woods around camp.

[Rae Artemi]

[Outside]

While Jamie is running through the woods, she may notice a little girl, around five, she's never seen before playing around in the grass outside of Denim Cabin, her small white wings flapping as she entertains herself.

Jamie does notice the girl. And, curious, approaches with a smile. And a wave!

[Outside]

And Jamie receives a friendly wave back! "Hi!" Says Saera, standing up and brushing herself off.

[The Bushranger]

"Hey! I'm Jamie," Jamie introduces herself. "What's your name? Are you new here? Where's your parents?"

[Rae Artemi]

[Outside]

Saera gets hit by a lot of questions! "Hi Jamie! I'm Saera! I am new here, and my parents are in heaven!" She answers happily.

"You're an angel, then? It's great to meet you, Saera!"
Jamie looks a little awed to be meeting an angel.

[Outside]

"Only half angel, like my brother Rae! And it's nice to meet you too!" Saera has met a lot of angels, so angels don't really impress her, and she completely misses the awe.

"Oh, that's cool. I don't think I ever met Rae, but I do know Crae," Jamie says with a broad smile.

An young woman exists one of the cabins holding a parasol over her head. The brunette looks quite thin and pale and her red eyes are dull and despairing. Olivia's blue dress looks as fine as ever, though.

She glances around with a fanged frown, looking very bored.

[Rae Artemi]

[Outside]

"Rae says Crae is pretty fun, but I've never actually met him!" Saera says, returning her smile! And Jamie met Rae once! It was only for a minute, though, so...

[Reinholdt]

[Outside]

Olivia might see a ghostly nymph wandering about and examining different things, such as the big slide and Jamie's garden.

Outside

Maybe she's just forgetful.
Jamie giggles. "So, you came here to visit him, then? Or just to look around?"

[VampireRot]

[Outside]

Olivia frowns at the ghostly nymph. You can't eat tha- oh wait, that's a good thing isn't it? She wouldn't have to worry about trying to eat someone who couldn't be eaten.

The vampire tentatively approaches Irene, keeping the parasol above her head to keep the light off her.

"Hello? Are you a ghost?"

A rather silly question, as Olivia can tell that Irene isn't alive, and she doesn't look like any other kind of undead. Though she could be a hologram.
